Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1 was released on 3 November 2026, fixing Coffee and Banana orchard highlighting, multiplayer orchard layouts, chainsaw debranching and some failed mod downloads. It also adds a way to remove standing trees for a fee using Demolition Mode.
The patch is small, but some of those fixes are exactly what players have been waiting for. One thing worth watching: GIANTS keeps older 1.25 changes on the same changelog page. Only the entries marked (1.25.1.0) were added in this hotfix.
Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1 patch notes: all eight fixes
GIANTS lists eight new fixes under Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1. Here’s the complete list for the 3 November hotfix:
| Problem | What the hotfix repairs |
|---|---|
| Colour picker | An error triggered by the colour picker |
| Orchard multiplayer layouts | Orchards appearing with mismatched layouts on the host and clients |
| Multiplayer dogs | An error when synchronising dog types |
| Large mod downloads | Failures on some network configurations |
| Banana and Coffee orchards | Missing selection highlighting |
| Chainsaws | Being unable to debranch trees |
| Deleted placeables | Errors after deleting placeable objects |
| Fruit types | Different server and client ordering caused by inconsistent loading times |

Three new features in Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1
There are three additions as well. One gives you an easier way to clear land; the other two raise the game’s technical limits.
- Paid standing-tree removal: Demolition Mode can now remove a tree that hasn’t been felled. GIANTS hasn’t published a universal demolition fee or tree-by-tree pricing in its patch notes.
- Animal limits: The number of supported animal types increases from 25 to 32, while animal subtypes rise from 32 to 64.
- Fill types: The limit increases from 255 to 1,023.
The tree change is useful when an upright tree is blocking a building project. Rather than cutting it down first, you can pay to remove it in Demolition Mode. GIANTS hasn’t listed the fee in the patch notes, so check the cost in the game before confirming removal.
The higher animal and fill-type limits are especially relevant to modded games. They increase capacity, rather than adding new base-game crops or species.
Does Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1 fix Coffee and Banana orchards?
Yes, for the selection and layout bugs. Coffee and Banana orchards now highlight when you select them. The patch also corrects a multiplayer issue where the server and connected players could see different row layouts for the same orchard.
The growing and harvesting process hasn’t changed. If bananas aren’t reaching the washing station, check whether the rails are connected; this fix targets how the plantation appears and responds to selection, not its processing equipment.
We’ve also updated the Farming Simulator 25 coffee cherries guide and Farming Simulator 25 bananas guide with the specific 1.25.1 display and multiplayer fixes.
Mod downloads, multiplayer dogs and fruit ordering
Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1 also tackles large mod downloads failing on some network configurations. If a download still fails, check the installed version and whether it happens with every mod or only a particular file. GIANTS hasn’t claimed to fix every kind of download failure.
Two multiplayer errors are also addressed: dog types weren’t always synchronising correctly, and differing load times could leave fruit types in different orders on the server and client. These are separate from the visible orchard-row mismatch, even if you noticed them during the same multiplayer session.
Chainsaw debranching and placeable errors
If your chainsaw wouldn’t remove branches, Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1 fixes that specific fault. Errors caused by deleting placeables have been fixed too. Both are worth checking before attempting awkward workarounds on an existing farm.

What isn’t new in this patch?
You might also spot year-round vineyard planting, vineyard and olive-orchard boundary painting, and workers caring for horses and alpacas on the changelog. Those entries are from the earlier 1.25 update. They weren’t introduced on 3 November.
The same applies to Beans & Alpacas itself. Coffee, bananas, alpacas and their production chains arrived with the expansion, not with Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1. Our Beans & Alpacas overview and production chains guide cover those existing systems.
How to install Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1
The official updates page lists 1.25.1.0 for 3 November 2026. If you’re connected to the internet, your platform normally handles the update automatically. Check the installed version in your copy before assuming you have the hotfix, particularly if a platform’s rollout is still catching up.
GIANTS gives an additional repair option for the PC edition bought on DVD or directly from the publisher: start the launcher while holding Shift, then select Verify Installation. It can repair installation issues, but that’s not an in-game console control.
If you’ve been struggling to select an orchard, run a multiplayer plantation or debranch a tree, Farming Simulator 25 update 1.25.1 is the patch to install. The new paid tree-removal option is a welcome extra, but the main benefit is that those existing jobs should work properly again.
