Reverse 1999 Rekindled Games of the Summer-Gold Sea is the Version 3.9 main story event. It began on 5 November 2026 and requires main story 1ST-16 Heaven Apostles. You earn Confetti Strip by completing event challenges and tasks, then spend it in the event shop. Story Mode ends on 14 December, while the shop stays open until 17 December.
The three important dates are easy to mix up. The story is open now, Hard Mode starts on 12 November and the shop closes three days after playable stages end. That extra time is for exchanging currency you’ve already earned, not for running more stages. Here is how to use the event and meet each deadline.
Reverse 1999 Rekindled Games of the Summer-Gold Sea schedule and global times

| Activity | Start (UTC) | End (UTC) |
|---|---|---|
| Story Mode | After 5 November update | 14 December, 09:59 |
| Hard Mode | 12 November, 10:00 | 14 December, 09:59 |
| Event Shop | After 5 November update | 17 December, 09:59 |
Bluepoch uses UTC-5 for its schedule. Add five hours to get UTC, which is GMT in the UK during these dates. The shop closes on 17 December at 09:59 GMT, 10:59 CET in Central Europe and 18:59 JST in Japan. That is 04:59 EST in New York. Be careful not to treat the developer’s 04:59 cutoff as 04:59 in your own country.
How to unlock Reverse 1999 Rekindled Games of the Summer-Gold Sea
Finish 1ST-16, Heaven Apostles, then open Version 3.9’s main-event area. The story takes you to a volcanic island with classical Greek themes. You do not need to summon Hedone or Narcissus to enter; those are separate character banners. Clear the available story stages and check the event’s task screen as you progress.
If Hard Mode is unavailable before 12 November at 10:00 UTC, that’s its scheduled unlock time. It isn’t a hidden prerequisite. Once it opens, you have until 14 December at 09:59 UTC to finish those harder stages alongside the main story. Plan enough time to complete tasks before the rewards window shuts.
How to earn Confetti Strip in Reverse 1999 Rekindled Games of the Summer-Gold Sea
Complete the event’s story challenges and event tasks to earn Confetti Strip. Claim rewards from completed tasks, then open the event shop and use your currency to exchange for its listed items. Bluepoch also names Clear Drops among the main event rewards. Check the current shop menu for the actual prices and purchase limits before spending anything.
The release notice does not confirm a complete Confetti Strip payout table, a single best farming stage or every shop item’s price. Numbers from an earlier event would be misleading here. The useful priority is to earn the currency before the stage cutoff on 14 December, then redeem it by 17 December.

Is Musae’s Arcade part of Reverse 1999 Rekindled Games of the Summer-Gold Sea?
Musae’s Arcade is a separate activity. It begins on 7 November and uses Duel Cards and Marvelous Marble. Those rewards do not replace Confetti Strip. ONiON’s Front Page Exclusive garment comes through the arcade, not just for completing the main story. Hedone’s Of Mortals and Immortality character story also has its own 26 November cutoff.
For Reverse 1999 Rekindled Games of the Summer-Gold Sea, finish the available story and Hard Mode stages, review the tasks you’ve completed and spend your Confetti Strip before 09:59 GMT on 17 December. The game does not need you to buy a separate event ticket for the unlock described by Bluepoch. If you are deciding which reward to choose, use the current shop screen rather than an unverified list of prices.
