PUBG Xeno Point Hell launches on PC on 18 November 2026 and consoles on 26 November, bringing a much tougher version of PUBG’s sector-based PvE mode. There’s now a single Hell setting instead of a Normal, Hard or Impossible selector. The difficulty rises as you clear sectors, and dying or abandoning a run costs you equipment as well as inventory.

Unlike Dawnbreakers Nightmare, Xeno Point Hell adjusts enemy strength and available currency to how many people are in your squad. That makes solo play a supported option without forcing you to fight the exact same enemy numbers as a four-player group. Here’s how the new rules, sectors, death penalties and event dates work.

PUBG Xeno Point Hell release date and availability

The official Update 44.1 schedule opens the mode at 07:00 UTC on November 18 for PC and 07:00 UTC on November 26 for console. Both openings are after the relevant November maintenance cycle. The PC service period continues until December 2 before maintenance; the console service period lasts until December 10 before maintenance.

For the separate November Special Drops missions attached to PUBG Xeno Point Hell, the claimable event window closes at a fixed time: December 2 at 00:00 UTC on PC and December 10 at 01:00 UTC on console. Don’t confuse that reward deadline with the mode’s maintenance-based service window.

07:00 UTC is 07:00 GMT in Britain, 08:00 CET in central Europe, 02:00 EST in New York, 23:00 PST the previous day in Los Angeles and 18:00 AEDT in Sydney. The fixed rewards deadline of 00:00 UTC is midnight GMT, 01:00 CET, 19:00 EST the previous day and 11:00 AEDT; console’s 01:00 UTC deadline is one hour later.

How the three PUBG Xeno Point Hell sectors work

The old mode let you choose between Normal, Hard and Impossible. In Hell, you choose one overall difficulty, but the challenge changes based on where you are in the run. PUBG’s official patch notes compare the new sectors to the previous difficulty settings:

  • Sector 1: comparable to the previous Normal difficulty.
  • Sector 2: comparable to the previous Hard difficulty.
  • Sector 3: comparable to the previous Impossible difficulty.
  • Mothership: also comparable to the previous Impossible difficulty.

The sector labels are a useful indication of what lies ahead, but they are not an option to switch difficulties halfway through. Players pushing for PUBG Xeno Point Hell rewards should expect the biggest resistance in the third sector and on the Mothership.

Does PUBG Xeno Point Hell scale for solo players?

Yes. PUBG says enemy health, enemy attack power and the amount of currency available are automatically adjusted for squads of one, two, three or four players. The balance even updates if someone joins or leaves during a stage, and the game displays a notification when that happens.

That is a meaningful difference from Dawnbreakers Nightmare, where four-player difficulty remains in place even for a solo queue. In PUBG Xeno Point Hell, playing with friends still changes the amount of support and firepower you have, but the enemy and currency adjustments follow the current party size rather than a permanent four-player setting.

What do you lose if you die or leave a match?

The new PUBG Xeno Point Hell death penalty removes everything held in your inventory and randomly removes an item from your currently equipped weapons and gear. PUBG confirms that leaving a match during a stage triggers the same penalty. This is harsher than simply returning to the lobby with all your loadout choices intact.

If you need to leave, check whether a stage is still in progress before exiting. The developer hasn’t published a special exception for quitting mid-stage. The amount or type of equipment you keep can also depend on the protective skills described below, so review your active skill set before starting a difficult sector.

Starter Boost, Prime Striker and Prime Conduit

Three existing skills have revised effects in PUBG Xeno Point Hell. PUBG’s official descriptions are specific about the benefits you carry into the next session after death:

  • Starter Boost: start the next session with an Adrenaline Syringe.
  • Prime Striker: start without losing weapons after death.
  • Prime Conduit: start without losing gear after death.

Those effects shouldn’t be mistaken for invincibility. They change what you retain after a failed run. The announcement does not lay out the exact Blue Chip Skill costs or how to build every protection combination in the updated live menu, so check those conditions in the mode once it opens.

Reloading with a vest no longer makes you invincible

In PUBG Xeno Point Hell, the old invincibility effect during a reload with a vest equipped has been replaced with temporary damage reduction. You’ll take less damage during that period, rather than being immune to attacks. PUBG says the invincibility already linked to using Super Skills and healing remains unchanged.

This is particularly important in Sector 3 and the Mothership. Don’t stand still under enemy fire expecting a vest reload to protect you completely. The revised defense is a reduction in incoming damage, not a guaranteed safe window.

Leaderboard and what to do first

The PUBG Xeno Point Hell leaderboard uses fastest clear times for the Mothership sector and is available through PUBG Bridge. That is different from simply accumulating enemy kills, and it gives experienced squads a reason to improve the speed of their final-sector clears.

When the mode goes live, start by reviewing the new Hell difficulty, available skills and loadout protections. Learn the first two sectors before taking valuable equipment into the tougher third sector, then keep an eye on the separate Special Drops task list for the P90 skin and other cosmetics. The event asks for cumulative progress, so there is no reason to assume every reward must be earned in one match.
