The WARDOGS TCX-SPR is the new Assault rifle added with Season 2, replacing the M4 at Assault level 20. You need to reach Assault level 20 and pay a one-time $100,000 unlock fee before you can buy it from the Primary weapon vendor for $3,200.
It uses 7.62x39mm ammunition, fires in full-auto or semi-auto and comes with access to its 28-round magazine when you unlock the rifle. Season 2 also adds three dedicated muzzle attachments later in the Assault progression track, with the last one unlocking at level 40.
How to unlock the WARDOGS TCX-SPR
Reach Assault level 20, then pay $100,000 to unlock the WARDOGS TCX-SPR. The same level also unlocks the TCX-SPR 28 RND Magazine. Once the weapon is unlocked, each new rifle costs $3,200 from the vendor, while a replacement 28-round magazine costs $50.
Season 2 moved the M4 from Assault level 20 to level 28, with the WARDOGS TCX-SPR taking its old position in the progression track. That makes the new rifle the main level 20 weapon milestone for Assault players after the reset.

TCX-SPR stats in Season 2
The WARDOGS TCX-SPR fires at 800 RPM, with a 700 m/s muzzle velocity and a 400 m effective range. It supports automatic and semi-automatic fire, weighs 3.5 kg and takes a 6×2 space in your inventory.
Season 2 reduced the base damage of 7.62x39mm ammunition by 19%. BULKHEAD also adjusted assault-rifle body multipliers so upper, middle and lower torso hits deal more consistent damage. The TCX-SPR uses that calibre, so those balance changes apply to it from launch.

TCX-SPR attachments and unlock levels
The WARDOGS TCX-SPR has four attachment slots: optic, grip, magazine and muzzle. Current Season 2 data shows 30 compatible parts in total, made up of 14 optics, nine grips, six muzzles and the rifle’s 28-round magazine. Three of those muzzles were added specifically for the TCX-SPR in the Season 2 Assault track.
The Cross Rifle Muzzle Brake arrives at Assault level 32, followed by the Clutch Lok Muzzle Brake at level 37 and the SRD762TI-QD Suppressor at level 40. Each has a one-time progression cost, then a lower vendor price whenever you need another one.

The TCX-SPR can also use the 2.5x Combat Optic, Four Reticle Reflex, 3x Tactical Prism Scope and Spectr 4x. Those sights unlock on the Assault track at levels 17, 22, 33 and 43 respectively. The rifle accepts other compatible optics and grips too, so its attachment choices are not limited to the parts tied directly to Assault progression.
Is the TCX-SPR worth unlocking?
For regular Assault players, the WARDOGS TCX-SPR is a worthwhile level 20 unlock. The $100,000 fee is paid once, then each replacement costs $3,200. The M4 now comes eight Assault levels later at level 28 and costs $150,000 to unlock.
The 28-round magazine and 800 RPM fire rate mean you can burn through a magazine quickly in full-auto. Semi-auto is there for slower shots at range, while short bursts give you better control over ammunition in closer fights.
What changed from the TCX Spear preview?
BULKHEAD originally revealed the rifle as the TCX Spear in the Season 2 preview. The final patch notes call it the TCX-SPR, which is the name used in the live Season 2 weapon list. If you were searching for the TCX Spear after the update, you are looking for this same rifle.
