The Hollow not showing on Roblox today? The first thing to check is the clock. Roblox Plus members can enter the Halloween hub at 8 PM BST, while standard accounts gain access at 10 PM BST. Players younger than nine in many regions may also be unable to join because the event has age requirements.
Is The Hollow not showing after the public launch? Start with the checks below. A missing event tile isn’t the same as an Error 524 permission message or Error 279 connection failure, and each has a different solution. You don’t need to buy a subscription or use an unofficial experience to investigate.
The Hollow not showing? Check the official opening time
| Access type | UK time, October 22 |
|---|---|
| Roblox Plus | 8 PM BST |
| All other eligible accounts | 10 PM BST |
Roblox announced a noon Pacific preview and a 2 PM Pacific public launch. That converts to 8 PM and 10 PM BST respectively. The Hollow not showing on a free account at 9 PM? Public access simply hasn’t opened yet. Its reward collection deadline is much later, on November 2 at 8 PM GMT.
See our Hollow event hub guide for the full schedule and confirmed monsters. Roblox hasn’t provided a permanent direct game ID in its launch announcement, so use the official event entry rather than a link to a similarly named fan experience.
Find the official event without joining a copy
Open Roblox and find The Hollow through its official event promotion or developer announcement. Check the experience’s creator and details before joining. If the event still isn’t in the menu after your access time, close and reopen Roblox, then check again. That refreshes a stale app screen without changing account settings.
The Hollow not showing on mobile? Check the App Store or Google Play for a Roblox update. On desktop, verify you’re signed into the expected account in both Roblox and the browser. If only the event entry is missing but other games work, don’t immediately reinstall your whole device or change networking settings.
Why age and parental settings can block the Hollow
Roblox says its Halloween survival event is aimed at players aged nine and up in most regions, and availability varies by location. Parents can set a content maturity level for their child’s account; the game may appear in search while its Play button is unavailable if its rating exceeds that setting.
The Hollow not showing for a child? An authorised parent can check Settings → Parental Controls → Content restrictions and the game’s displayed maturity label. Roblox’s Content Maturity FAQ explains how these settings work. Turning chat on is not a substitute for meeting a game’s eligibility requirements.
Fix Error 524 when trying to join
Error 524 means Roblox won’t allow the account into the particular server or experience. The official support page lists private-server permission, privacy restrictions and temporary server availability as possible causes. Is The Hollow not showing with Error 524? Try the regular public event entry instead of a friend’s private-server invite.
Check the account’s join permissions and whether the server is available. The official Error 524 guide explains the message. Don’t bypass a parent’s controls by switching accounts or installing anything claiming to unlock the maze.
Fix loading screens and Error 279
The Hollow not showing because the connection fails? Try launching a different Roblox experience. When multiple games fail, the problem may be the app or network rather than The Hollow. Close and reopen the app, check your internet connection and look for an update. Error 279/ID 17 is a recognised Roblox connection error.
Visit Roblox’s status page if several experiences are failing. Its connection help covers device restarts and network fixes. Reinstall Roblox through the official store if the simpler steps fail, not through a third-party ‘Hollow patch’.
Do you need Plus to make the event show up?
No. Plus gives subscribers a two-hour head start, an event-themed profile frame and background, and an item-gifting launcher. The full event opens to ordinary eligible accounts at 10 PM BST. A separate Plus subscription is not required for the quests that earn free UGC.
The DOORS Candy Vault update starts earlier on October 22, but it is not The Hollow hub. Seek’s appearance in the shared event does not mean you must open DOORS to fix a missing Roblox event tile.
Why can’t you enter tomorrow’s monster maze?
Roblox is releasing nine changing mazes across nine nights. The Hollow not showing a future monster’s maze? If the main hub works, that encounter might be locked until its scheduled night. Check the active quest and its date before assuming your account has a bug.
Similarly, 99 Nights Halloween, Dandy’s World Halloween and Evade Halloween are separate experiences with their own event systems. Entering those games won’t necessarily open a later-night Hollow maze.
What to report if none of this works
The Hollow not showing after its confirmed opening time? Record the error text, your device, whether other Roblox games connect, and whether the account meets its age and content requirements. These details help Roblox support separate permissions, device faults and event-specific issues.
The safest official starting point is Roblox’s The Hollow announcement. Don’t trust third-party requests for passwords, account verification codes or payment to reveal the hub. Once you get in, the official rewards claim deadline is November 2 at 8 PM GMT.
