Return to The Hunt Hub was the handoff used during Roblox 20 to move from a featured experience back to its matching historical year area. The Hunt ended on September 28, 2026 at 10 AM PT, so this page now documents how the return button and reward handoff worked rather than presenting them as currently usable progression.
The confusing part about Return to The Hunt Hub is that it is not the same as returning to a normal game lobby. The event sends you back to the matching year area, where the reward pedestal and next progression step are handled separately from the badge you just earned inside the featured game.

During the live event, to Return to The Hunt Hub on PC, press Esc to open the Roblox menu and look near the top-left area for the event return button. Current live runs label it as a return to The Hunt, and selecting it teleports you out of the featured game and back into the anniversary year lobby.
- Players first finished the featured game objective and waited for its completion message or badge.
- Press Esc or open the normal Roblox menu.
- Select the Return to The Hunt option when the participating game exposes it.
- Wait for the matching year hub to load before clicking anything else.
- The nearby reward pedestal was then used to claim the year item.
- Players confirmed the next year had opened before leaving the hub again.
Where is the Return to The Hunt button?
Return to The Hunt Hub from the normal Roblox system menu rather than searching the game map for a portal. In participating experiences that expose the shortcut, the return control appears with the other Roblox menu options after you open the menu.
If the button is not visible, first make sure you actually entered the game through the anniversary route and completed the event objective. Some games only make the handoff useful once the Hunt state has registered, so leaving before the badge or counter updates can send you back without a completed year.
Does the /hub command work?
Typing /hub in chat is not the reliable way to Return to The Hunt Hub. Current player walkthroughs specifically report that the chat command does not perform the event handoff, even though seeing other players type it can make it look like a hidden shortcut.
Use the Roblox menu return control instead. If your current experience does not show that control, leaving the game and opening the official Hunt experience again is safer than repeatedly entering chat commands that do not change your event state.
What to do after you get back to the hub
Once you Return to The Hunt Hub, go to the reward pedestal for the year you just completed. The avatar item is handled by the anniversary hub, so earning a game badge does not always mean the UGC has already appeared in your inventory.
Claim the reward before using the progression cube or moving into the next historical year. The normal Hunt loop is quest, completion, hub return, reward claim and then the next year, and skipping the claim step is one reason players think their progression is stuck.
What if the Return to The Hunt option is missing?
If you cannot Return to The Hunt Hub through the menu, confirm the game objective has actually completed. Check the Hunt counter, quest badge or completion popup first, because an unfinished game task and a missing menu shortcut are two different problems.
You can also leave the featured experience and reopen the official Hunt hub on the same Roblox account. Once back, check whether the year shows as complete before replaying the whole game objective, because the completion may already have saved even if the direct return button did not appear.
Why returning to the hub matters
Return to The Hunt Hub is more than navigation. Roblox uses the central event experience to track the chronological 2006 to 2025 route, give the matching avatar item and open the next year after the current stage is recorded.
That means a player can finish the difficult part inside a featured game and still look unfinished in the wider event until the hub handoff is completed. Always check the year pedestal and the next gate before assuming the quest needs to be repeated.
Use the official The Hunt: Roblox 20 experience if you need to return to the anniversary route. Return to The Hunt Hub is a narrow objective, so check the event counter after each required action before repeating a longer part of the year.
