The Pokémon TCG Delta Reign release date is Friday 6 November 2026 for physical packs and boxes in the UK. Pokémon TCG Live gets the expansion a day earlier, on Thursday 5 November at 5pm GMT. If you’re buying a box rather than playing digitally, it’s the Friday launch that matters.
Mega Rayquaza ex headlines the set alongside Mega Malamar ex, Mega Golisopod ex and Mega Golurk ex. Pokémon has detailed five main sealed formats, from a six-pack Booster Bundle to a 36-pack display. Here’s how to tell them apart and which date to look for.
Pokémon TCG Delta Reign release date and UK launch time
| Launch | Date | UK time |
|---|---|---|
| Physical cards and boxes | Friday 6 November 2026 | No single retail hour announced |
| Pokémon TCG Live | Thursday 5 November 2026 | 5pm GMT |
| Prerelease events began | Saturday 24 October 2026 | Depends on participating shop |
The Pokémon TCG Delta Reign release date is the same for regular UK and US retail sales. A particular shop’s collection or delivery hour may vary. Prerelease tournaments started on 24 October at participating independent shops, which is why some players already have physical cards.
Which Delta Reign boxes are releasing?
| Product | Booster packs | Extras |
|---|---|---|
| Booster Display Box | 36 | Sealed display of boosters |
| Standard Elite Trainer Box | 9 | Kyogre promo and accessories |
| Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box | 11 | Two Kyogre promos, including one Pokémon Center version |
| Build & Battle Box | 4 | 40-card deck, foil promo and TCG Live code |
| Booster Bundle | 6 | Six boosters |
A Booster Display contains 36 packs, each with ten cards and one Basic Energy. The six-pack bundle is a smaller way to open the new expansion. Elite Trainer Boxes add gameplay accessories, while Build & Battle focuses on prerelease play with a ready-to-play 40-card deck.
How many cards are in Delta Reign?
Pokémon’s main product page says over 135 cards, while its separate preview says more than 140. Until those two published descriptions are reconciled by an exact checklist, it’s better not to claim a precise set size. The press release confirms four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, six other Pokémon ex, 14 illustration rares, 17 ultra rares and six special illustration rares.
There are also six Stadium cards forming three Legendary Stadiums. Each finished Stadium uses two cards, with artwork that joins into one scene. Pokémon says packs featuring a Legendary Stadium contain both halves.
Which ETB has the Kyogre promo?
Both do. The regular Elite Trainer Box contains one full-art foil Kyogre promo and nine boosters. The Pokémon Center edition has eleven boosters and two full-art Kyogre promos, one with Pokémon Center branding. The accessories include sleeves, Energy, dice, a coin, a guide and storage.
These Kyogre cards are different from the anniversary giveaway at selected retailers. Pokémon’s product showcase doesn’t include a confirmed universal UK price, so check the listing for the exact box you’re comparing.
Does the Pokémon TCG Delta Reign release date differ on TCG Live?
Yes. Digital cards go live at 5pm GMT on 5 November, one day before physical retail. Pokémon TCG Live is a separate digital game on compatible mobile and computer devices; it isn’t a shipment of physical cards. Players can also redeem eligible code cards from physical products.
The Pokémon TCG Delta Reign release date doesn’t change for the Pokémon Center ETB or the Booster Bundle: Pokémon lists 6 November for both. The retailer Kyogre, Groudon and Giratina offers also begin on that date in the regions named by the publisher, subject to stock.
