Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal is the entrance to the PSX Classic event introduced in Update 99 on October 24, 2026. It takes you from Pet Simulator 99 into a playable version of Pet Simulator X, where everyone begins fresh in Town and works towards Heaven’s Gate.
You can access the event directly from the gate behind the eggs or use Join Event on the sidebar. Once inside, completing new areas earns rewards for your PS99 account, so knowing how to return home matters as much as finding the entrance.

Where is the Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal?
The portal is behind the eggs in Pet Simulator 99. Make your way to the main egg area and look for the newly opened PSX entrance. The gate was opened with Update 99 on October 24, 2026. Its purpose is to take you into a playable version of Pet Simulator X, not simply to a shop or a rewards screen. How to enter the Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal
Walk up to the portal and press Play. The alternative is the Join Event shortcut on the sidebar, which can be more convenient when you’re already exploring somewhere else. Both routes take you to the same Classic experience. Once you enter the Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal, you begin the old-fashioned progression in Town, working your way through Spawn and the Fantasy world. The game deliberately starts everyone fresh inside Classic, so being powerful in the ordinary PS99 world does not skip the opening climb.
What happens inside the Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal?
PSX Classic recreates the original Pet Simulator X journey. Begin with the early Town areas, collect and hatch pets, and improve your team as you open new sections. Eventually you reach Fantasy Portals, move among the islands and work towards Heaven’s Gate. Your aim is to get stronger pets and unlock new areas as efficiently as possible. The Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal does not automatically award every event prize: most of them require you to play and progress in the Classic world.
How to return from the Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal
To leave Classic, press Home on the left of the screen. This sends you back to the main Pet Simulator 99 experience. Your Classic world progression matters because each new area reached pays a corresponding reward back home. You receive those rewards as soon as you land back in PS99. For your first return, BIG Games also awards 100,000 Diamonds and 10 Mini Chests. This makes a first visit through the Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal worthwhile even if you cannot play for hours in one sitting.
Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal: What happens to pets?
Classic pets remain part of the older-style experience, but eligible Huge pets have a special system called Classic Twins. Hatch a Classic Huge inside the event and its twin appears in your Pet Simulator 99 account when you return home. You keep the classic version in PSX Classic as well. Trading is turned off inside Classic, so the twin feature is how these particular pets arrive in your main account. The Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal is therefore a gateway to a separate progression loop with linked rewards, not a free transfer of your full existing inventory.
Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal: Rewards worth returning for
Every one of the event’s 18 areas has a corresponding reward for your PS99 account, ranging from Keys to Diamonds. New Classic Index entries also help your clan’s Fantasy Clan Battle score. Players who hatch ordinary eggs and break chests earn Season Pass tokens, with a free Huge Froggy at Tier 4. There are rarer goals too: Huge Dalmatian from any Classic egg, Huge Tiger from the Empyrean Egg, and Huge Agony from the Grand Heaven Chest. Use the Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal again after you return home to continue your progress rather than beginning from scratch each time.
Can you reach Heaven’s Gate immediately?
No shortcut to Heaven’s Gate is advertised in the official instructions. You move through the Spawn world and Fantasy progression, building up your pets and unlocking areas. Heaven’s Gate matters for Classic Legend, which requires reaching that destination and playing 72 hours. The event also has a speedrun board measuring your fastest journey from Spawn to Heaven’s Gate, although BIG Games says that particular board offers no prizes. For many players, Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal progression will be a longer-term objective, especially while collecting Index entries along the way.
Pet Simulator 99 PSX Classic Portal first-visit tips
Enter Classic, establish your early pet team and focus on unlocking the first areas. Hatch eggs as you go so that you are also adding to the Classic Index and earning Season Pass tokens. Once you’ve reached several zones, use Home to collect earned PS99 rewards and the first-return bonus. Return through the portal or Join Event shortcut to continue into Fantasy. This approach gives you immediate rewards while keeping the longer Heaven’s Gate, Classic Legend and rare-pet goals moving forward. You can still play the ongoing Diamond Mountain event in the main game whenever you prefer.
