You can start trying for Dalmatian immediately, although hatching a Huge still takes luck. Once you succeed, the Classic Twin system also gives you a matching version back in regular Pet Simulator 99. Here’s where to hatch, how the event works and how to collect both versions.
How to hatch Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian
To get Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian, enter PSX Classic and hatch eggs. BIG Games explicitly confirms that the pet can appear from every egg in this event. No special paid egg, leaderboard finish or particular Fantasy zone is listed as a requirement.
From ordinary PS99, walk through the portal behind the eggs and press Play, or select Join Event on the sidebar. Everyone starts fresh in the Town area inside Classic, so build your first pet team and earn enough coins to hatch your opening eggs. Those first eggs already give you a chance at Dalmatian.
Which egg gives the best chance of Huge Dalmatian?
Every Classic egg can hatch Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian, but BIG Games hasn’t provided a full odds table or claimed that the last egg offers higher Dalmatian odds. Pick an egg you can afford to open repeatedly while keeping enough coins to progress. A longer run of eligible hatches may be more manageable than waiting for an expensive egg.
The late-game Empyrean Egg is linked to a different pet, the Huge Tiger. If you’re specifically after the Tiger, you must reach that final egg. Dalmatian’s any-egg rule means players in early Spawn areas can try for it without first clearing Fantasy.
Auto Hatch is free in PSX Classic, according to the Update 99 notes. Use that feature when you’re ready for a longer hatching session and keep an eye on the currency needed for your chosen egg. No fixed number of egg openings guarantees Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian.
How to make progress in PSX Classic
PSX Classic has 18 areas, taking you from Town through the Spawn world and Fantasy portals towards Heaven’s Gate. Everyone begins with fresh progression in Classic, however strong their regular PS99 team may be. Hatch pets, break currency piles and buy access to the next area, then repeat.
You also earn rewards back in PS99 for reaching new areas. Your first trip home grants 100,000 Diamonds and 10 Mini Chests, and the new Season Pass gives tokens for hatching eggs, breaking chests and reaching new locations. Farming for Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian therefore overlaps with several other useful tasks.
What is a Huge Dalmatian Classic Twin?
When you hatch Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian in Classic, it appears there as the old-style PSX pet. Return to regular PS99 with the Home control on the left, and its Classic Twin is delivered in PS99. You’re not trading the pet between games; you keep the Classic version and receive the corresponding new-game reward.
Trading is disabled in PSX Classic. The Twin system is the game’s official route for bringing these Huge discoveries into your main PS99 collection. If the counterpart doesn’t seem visible, return home first and check the pets inventory, including any collapsed categories or search filters. Update 99 added several inventory-organisation options.
Later Classic areas bring other rare Huge opportunities, but Dalmatian remains available from the first eggs. If you’re still building a team, you can keep hatching instead of racing to the final area.
Dalmatian compared with Froggy, Tiger and Agony
Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian is not the Season Pass reward. That is Huge Froggy, earned at free Tier 4. Huge Tiger comes from the Empyrean Egg and Huge Agony from the Grand Heaven Chest. The Huge Reaper is instead a Classic leaderboard reward. These are separate paths; none is needed to make a Dalmatian egg eligible.

Why isn’t Huge Dalmatian hatching?
If you’re opening actual PSX Classic eggs, your attempts qualify for Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian. The drop is random, so even a long session can end without a Huge. Make sure you’re inside the Classic event rather than opening an egg in ordinary PS99, and use the Classic portal if you’re unsure.
You can also spend time on Diamond Mountain activities if you’re taking a break from Classic. The Update 98 overview explains that event, while the Abominable Yeti boss, secret trails and expeditions offer other rare pets without altering Dalmatian’s drop rules.
If you hatch Pet Simulator 99 Huge Dalmatian, use Home to collect the matching Classic Twin in regular PS99. Until then, any Classic egg is a valid place to keep trying.
