NTE Accessories: How to Unlock and Equip Accessories

NTE Accessories

NTE Accessories are a new character appearance system added in Version 1.4, giving players another cosmetic layer alongside outfits. The first accessory set has several different acquisition routes, including the Fashion Shop, City Tycoon’s Puka Membership Program, the Star Ticket Counter in Pukaland and an achievement unlock.

The important thing about NTE Accessories is that they are not one single shop collection. Three launch accessories cost Fons, two come from Puka Membership progression, one is bought with Star Tickets and one is tied to an achievement, so the fastest route depends on the accessory you actually want.

  • Tomorrow’s Star: buy from Mall > Fashion Shop for Fons x1,600,000.
  • Position Zero: buy from Mall > Fashion Shop for Fons x1,600,000.
  • Neon Nights: buy from Mall > Fashion Shop for Fons x1,600,000.
  • Moonless Night: unlock through City Tycoon: Puka Membership Program.
  • Grand Prize: unlock through City Tycoon: Puka Membership Program.
  • Big Brains: redeem at the Star Ticket Counter in Pukaland.
  • Knockingbird: unlock by earning its required achievement.

These routes are all confirmed in the Version 1.4 patch notes. The Puka Membership Program also names Grand Prize and Moonless Night among its progression rewards, making them part of the wider City Tycoon expansion rather than ordinary Fashion Shop purchases.

How to equip NTE Accessories

Accessories belong to the character appearance layer added in 1.4, so start from the character and appearance interface after obtaining one. Open the character you want to customise, enter the appearance or outfit controls and select the new accessory option exposed by the updated client.

If an accessory does not appear as usable immediately after acquisition, leave the menu and reopen the character appearance screen after the reward has been claimed. Version 1.4 must be installed because older clients do not contain the new NTE Accessories system.

Which NTE Accessories can be bought with Fons?

Tomorrow’s Star, Position Zero and Neon Nights each cost Fons x1,600,000 in Mall > Fashion Shop. Buying all three at their listed price requires Fons x4,800,000.

That makes them the simplest accessories to target if you already have a large Fons reserve. It also means spending Fons on the full trio competes directly with other Version 1.4 costs, including City Tycoon progression and the Porsche mystery-box system.

How to get Moonless Night and Grand Prize

Moonless Night and Grand Prize come from the Puka Membership Program inside City Tycoon. The Version 1.4 reward preview places Grand Prize earlier in the new progression track and Moonless Night later, so these are earned through Sweetdream Level progress rather than bought directly from the Fashion Shop.

The same program contains outfits, character and Arc selection boxes, frames, namecards, dice skins and other rewards, which makes accessory hunting part of a much larger City Tycoon progression plan.

How to get Big Brains

Big Brains is redeemed at the Star Ticket Counter in Pukaland. That means you need access to the new Version 1.4 Pukaland location and enough of the relevant Star Ticket currency for the counter exchange.

Check the live counter before spending Star Tickets elsewhere if Big Brains is your priority, because Pukaland contains several attractions and exchange systems competing for its local currencies.

How to get Knockingbird

Knockingbird is the achievement accessory. Perfect World confirms that a specific achievement unlocks it, but the patch notes do not name the achievement requirement.

Use the current achievement menu to identify the live unlock condition rather than following guesses made before Version 1.4 launched. Once the correct achievement is completed and claimed, Knockingbird should become available through the NTE Accessories appearance system.

Are accessories the same as outfits?

No. Version 1.4 explicitly introduces Accessories as a new appearance system while continuing to list outfits separately. An accessory adds another cosmetic element rather than replacing the whole character skin.

That separation is useful because it gives players more ways to customise a character without committing to a different full outfit. NTE Accessories are therefore best treated as their own collectible category from Version 1.4 onward.

Perfect World lists all seven launch accessories and their acquisition routes in the official Version 1.4 patch notes.
