NBA 2K27 Season 2 Rewards: Free Levels, MyTEAM and Pro Pass

NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards include new GOAT Builds, Halloween cosmetics, Badge upgrades and player cards as you work towards Level 40. The free MyCAREER track finishes with a +1 Cap Breaker, while MyTEAM has a Pixel Cut Karl-Anthony Towns card. There’s also a separate premium track if you’ve purchased the Pro Pass or Hall of Fame Pass.

Season 2 began on October 16, with Caitlin Clark and Tyrese Haliburton featured in the launch campaign. You can gain Season XP in The City, MyCAREER and MyTEAM, but the prizes aren’t identical across modes. The standard MyCAREER track awards three GOAT Builds this season. Magic Johnson arrives at Level 26, Dirk Nowitzki at Level 33 and young Kobe Bryant at Level 37. The free NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards also cover travel around The City, new mascots, cosmetic items and upgrades to your MyPLAYER.

Season XP earned from eligible games moves you through these levels. You don’t need the Pro Pass to unlock these standard rewards. If your priority is the +1 Cap Breaker, keep playing after Kobe: it sits at Level 40, three levels later. The announced NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards also include four Synergy Badge Slots, two Bonus Badge Slots and two Bonus Badge Tokens across the track.

NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards in MyTEAM

MyTEAM has its own player-card progression, starting with Diamond Jason Kidd at Level 1. Other NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards for MyTEAM include Galaxy Opal Roy Hibbert at Level 20, Dark Matter Devin Vassell at Level 30 and Pixel Cut Karl-Anthony Towns at Level 40.

Diamond Coach Joe Mazzulla at Level 28 boosts Offensive and Defensive Rebound, Pass Perception, Steal and Vertical by +3. He isn’t another player card, so check your coaching setup when you earn him. The standard Level 40 Towns card isn’t the same listing as the premium Pro Pass version. Both are advertised, but on different reward tracks.

NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards on the Pro Pass

The paid Pro Pass adds 40 premium levels alongside the standard seasonal prizes. Four items are granted automatically: the Jack-O’-Lantern Scarecrow Costume, Headhunter Mask, a Pascal Siakam player card and the Pro Pass Pack. 2K’s announcement identifies Siakam as 94 OVR, while the longer Courtside Report describes him as Dark Matter. Check the card’s actual in-game label if you need its precise version.

Beyond those automatic items, the premium NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards include facepaint, mascots, a Fire Face Body Mod and a separate Pixel Cut Karl-Anthony Towns. The table contains the levels specifically confirmed by 2K, not a made-up list for all 40 paid tiers.

Check the premium track before buying it for a specific outfit. The Fire Face Body Mod is at premium Level 18, not a standard MyCAREER unlock, and the Pro Pass Towns card is at premium Level 40. The regular NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards still include Badge upgrades and GOAT Builds without a premium purchase.

Does the Hall of Fame Pass have different prizes?

The Hall of Fame Pass includes the same premium rewards as the Pro Pass, plus ten level skips and a 15% Season XP booster. You don’t get a third 40-level reward track. If you’ve already purchased the Pro Pass on PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo, 2K Support says an upgrade offer should be available.

Both paid options require the base game, an internet connection and an NBA 2K account. Season progress resets when the season ends. You can earn the free NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards without a premium pass. Check the named rewards first: you might prefer the Cap Breaker and three GOAT Builds over the paid cosmetics.

How to get Pixel Cut Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in MyTEAM

Pixel Cut Kareem is a Premier Exchange reward, not one of the standard MyTEAM levels listed above. The Premier Exchange accepts player cards from packs, the Auction House, rewards and Locker Codes; Free Agent cards aren’t eligible. Open MyTEAM’s Exchange menu to see the actual card requirements before you submit anything.

2K has confirmed that submissions towards a Premier Exchange card remain counted if you begin the exchange during its active offer. You can complete that card afterwards even if its timer expires. The announcement doesn’t list Kareem’s precise exchange quantities, so the full in-game recipe needs checking directly rather than inventing one as part of the NBA 2K27 Season 2 rewards list.

How to gain Season XP and reach Level 40

Eligible games in The City, MyCAREER and MyTEAM earn seasonal XP. Within The City, the official report identifies The REC, Park and Theater among the modes where you can play and advance your rewards. REP is different: the Michael Jordan and LeBron James GOAT Builds require Elite and Legend REP milestones, not simply Season Level 40.

Is the Pro Pass required to earn GOAT Builds?

No. Magic, Dirk and young Kobe belong to standard Season reward levels. Other GOAT Builds come from the starting builder selection, REP ranks and Lifetime Challenges, not the paid pass.

Can you get Karl-Anthony Towns for free?

The standard MyTEAM track lists a Pixel Cut Towns card at Level 40. The premium track has its own Pro Pass version at Level 40, so check which one you’re trying to collect.

Are these every single Level 1–40 reward?

What if my paid Season Pass rewards aren’t showing?

Give the purchase time to appear on your account. 2K Support says heavy online traffic can delay delivery, but if nothing arrives after 24 hours you should contact its support team with a receipt and purchase-history record. On Nintendo Switch 2, 2K specifically warns that upgrading the Season Pass may only grant premium-track access, not the pass-specific automatic content. Buying the Pro Pass or Hall of Fame Pass itself should grant that content.
