Hidden Marvel Tōkon Trophies
Three entries in the Marvel Tōkon Trophy List are hidden by default. They are not heavily dependent on story spoilers, but players who would rather discover every secret naturally should stop reading this section.
| Hidden trophy | Grade | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Perfect Timing! | Bronze | Land a Perfect Reflect during an eligible battle |
| The Watcher | Gold | Clear all Episodes |
| Deadpool Saves the Tōkon Universe | Gold | Unlock every secret command in Deadpool’s Command List |
The Deadpool objective is likely to be one of the more unusual trophies because it requires players to uncover every hidden command associated with his moveset rather than simply completing a fixed number of matches.
Does Marvel Tōkon Have a Platinum Trophy?
Yes. Champion of the Universe is the Platinum trophy awarded for completing the rest of the Marvel Tōkon Trophy List.
There are no separate Platinum requirements beyond earning every other trophy. However, that still requires players to complete every Episode scenario, clear major All-Star Arena content, finish 500 eligible battles and work through 100 Character Lessons combo challenges.
| Major Platinum requirement | Target |
|---|---|
| Eligible battles completed | 500 |
| Character Lessons challenges cleared | 100 |
| Episode scenarios completed | 5 |
| Casual Matches completed | 10 |
| Assist actions landed | 100 |
| Link Attacks landed | 100 |
| Breaks triggered | 10 |
The Platinum does not require players to reach a specific competitive rank or win hundreds of Ranked Matches. You only need to finish one Ranked Match for Ranking Up Without Fear.
Which Trophy Will Take the Longest?
I Can Do This All Day will probably be the longest trophy for most players because it requires 500 completed battles.
Offline Versus and Training Mode do not count toward this total. Eligible online and structured battle modes will therefore form an important part of Platinum progress.
Weapon X could also take considerable time because it requires 100 combo challenges across Character Lessons. The lower Combo Aficionado trophy unlocks after the first 10 challenges, leaving another 90 to complete for the Silver trophy.
| Time-consuming trophy | Requirement |
|---|---|
| I Can Do This All Day | Finish 500 eligible battles |
| Weapon X | Clear 100 combo challenges |
| The Watcher | Complete all Episode scenarios |
| Deadpool Saves the Tōkon Universe | Find every secret Deadpool command |
| Champion Buster | Clear the Champion Course |
Episode Mode Trophies
Episode Mode contributes a substantial portion of the Marvel Tōkon Trophy List.
Each of the five official teams has a corresponding Silver trophy:
- Fighting Avengers
- Unbreakable X-Men
- Amazing Guardians
- Samurai Outriders
- Knights of Doom
Completing all five scenarios also unlocks the hidden Gold trophy The Watcher. Players should additionally earn It’s Showtime while progressing through the Episodes by defeating the Promoter.
Finishing the complete story content can therefore unlock five Silver trophies, one Gold trophy and at least one Bronze trophy.
Combat Mechanic Trophies
Many Bronze trophies encourage players to use Marvel Tōkon’s distinct combat systems rather than winning matches through basic attacks alone.
The Marvel Tōkon Trophy List includes objectives tied to:
- Assemble Assists
- Super Assemble
- Tōkon Assemble
- Assemble Counter
- Crossover
- Crossover Reflect
- Link Attacks
- Slam Launchers
- Breaks
- Super Skills
- Ultimate Skills
- Assemble Smash
- Perfect Reflect
Most of these requirements exclude Offline Versus and Training Mode. Landing the action successfully while practising against a Training Mode opponent will not contribute to the trophy total.
The individual targets are generally manageable. Most require between five and 10 successful uses, although Sidekick! and Mashers Unite! increase their targets to 100.
Online and Social Trophies
Not every objective requires advanced combat ability. Several entries can be earned by exploring the online and social systems.
| Trophy | What to do |
|---|---|
| New World | Enter the Online Lobby |
| Welcome to the Danger Room | Create a Room Match |
| Ranking Up Without Fear | Complete one Ranked Match |
| Let’s Take It Easy | Complete 10 Casual Matches |
| Your Very Own Stamp of Approval | Use a Sticker |
| Following in Their Footsteps | Follow another player |
| Best. Activity. Ever. | Play an Online Lobby Activity |
| Roll the Tape! | Watch a replay |
These should be among the easiest trophies to collect. Players pursuing the Platinum should clear them early rather than reaching the end of the game and discovering that they somehow never pressed a sticker.
Is the Marvel Tōkon Platinum Difficult?
The Marvel Tōkon Trophy List appears more time-consuming than brutally difficult.
There is no trophy for reaching the highest online rank, maintaining a long winning streak or defeating a specific number of human opponents. The game instead rewards players for completing its content and demonstrating familiarity with its mechanics.
The largest obstacle is likely to be the time required for 500 battles. Character Lessons and Champion Course difficulty may also affect how quickly individual players can finish the list.
A sensible Platinum route would be:
- Complete Startup Battle.
- Finish every Episode scenario.
- Clear Character Lessons while learning the roster.
- Complete All-Star Arena courses.
- Collect the simple lobby and social trophies.
- Play Casual, Ranked, Room Match and Arcadia Rumble.
- Track combat mechanic objectives during eligible matches.
- Continue playing until reaching 500 finished battles.
- Find Deadpool’s remaining secret commands.
- Clean up any missed trophies.
Does Steam Have the Same Achievements?
The Steam version has 38 achievements rather than 39 because Steam does not include the PlayStation Platinum trophy.
The remaining objectives match the PS5 Trophy requirements, including the combat, Episode Mode and multiplayer challenges.
| Platform | Total trophies or achievements |
|---|---|
| PlayStation 5 | 39 |
| Steam | 38 |
| Platinum available | PS5 only |
