Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance is the Woven Echo that turns the normal Season 5 Morditas progression into the God of Bloodshed pinnacle encounter. It is not a random Monolith drop and it is not earned directly from Blood Crystals. You first need to complete the seasonal boss route and defeat standard Morditas.
After that victory, Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance becomes your key to the pinnacle fight. There is still one important restriction: the Woven Echo requires 400 Corruption before you can place it into the Echo Web, so receiving the item does not automatically mean the boss can be entered immediately.
How to get Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance

To get Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance, progress through Rage of Morditas Blood Crystal encounters until the seasonal Woven Echo chain is unlocked. Every monster killed during those activities moves the progression forward. The chain has three stages, with standard Morditas waiting at the end.
Defeat that normal Morditas encounter and the Demigod’s Ascendance Woven Echo is awarded. If you have not beaten standard Morditas yet, there is no shortcut through ordinary Monolith farming that replaces this step.
The Anger gauge used during the normal seasonal chain can make those Woven Echoes harder while improving rewards. If the route to Morditas is becoming too difficult, you can reduce Anger before trying again. That system is separate from the Corruption requirement used by Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance.
Why Demigod’s Ascendance needs 400 Corruption
Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance requires 400 Corruption to place in the Echo Web. The requirement belongs to the pinnacle unlock itself, not to the earlier Rage of Morditas chain.
If the Woven Echo is in your possession but the game will not let you place it, check your Corruption progression first. You do not need to earn another copy simply because you received it before reaching the threshold.
Corruption changes many normal Monolith rewards and difficulty values, but Eleventh Hour Games says the God of Bloodshed encounter does not scale difficulty with Corruption. Reaching 500 or 600 Corruption does not automatically turn the pinnacle Morditas fight into a stronger version than the one unlocked at 400.
How to use Demigod’s Ascendance
Once the 400 Corruption requirement is met, place Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance into your Echo Web. Entering that Woven Echo puts you on the path to Pinnacle Morditas, the God of Bloodshed.
This makes Demigod’s Ascendance different from a normal reward Echo. Its purpose is access to the new pinnacle boss. You are not spending Bloodrage Charges to activate it, and the normal Morditas Anger gauge is not the gate at this point.
Before entering, make sure the build you intend to use is ready for pinnacle content. Eleventh Hour Games describes the God of Bloodshed as a harder Morditas encounter intended to bridge the difficulty toward Uber Aberroth.
What can you get from the Demigod’s Ascendance boss?
The main reason to use Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance repeatedly is access to the pinnacle Morditas drop pool. The headline exclusive is Morditas’ Vengeance, a new two-handed spear that only drops from the God of Bloodshed.
The weapon prevents your health leech from ending simply because you reached full health, which lets stored leech begin restoring health as soon as you take damage again. If that is the item you are chasing, our Last Epoch Morditas' Vengeance guide explains the exclusive drop source and the unusual leech behavior.
Other Season 5 rewards can come from the wider Rage of Morditas ecosystem, so do not assume every new Unique requires Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance. The pinnacle spear is the clearest example of an item specifically locked behind the God of Bloodshed.
Demigod’s Ascendance not working or cannot be placed
If Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance cannot be placed, work through the requirements in order. First, confirm that the Woven Echo came from defeating normal Morditas. Second, make sure you are working in the Echo Web with at least 400 Corruption. Third, distinguish this from the seasonal Anger gauge, because Anger does not replace the Corruption gate.
If your problem happens earlier and the normal boss chain is still locked, return to Rage of Morditas activities rather than farming generic Echoes. Monster kills in the seasonal encounters are what move that Woven Echo progression forward.
Sentinel players preparing a new Season 5 build can also check our Last Epoch Radiant Lance guide. Radiant Lance unlocks through the Paladin passive tree and normally uses a shield, though its Cloudless Sky node offers a different route.
Last Epoch Demigod’s Ascendance is therefore simple once the two progression systems are separated. Morditas gives you the Woven Echo, 400 Corruption lets you place it, and the placed Echo takes you to the God of Bloodshed. You do not need another hidden quest after those requirements are complete.
