The Fortnite Cheat Code locations are found around the Chapter 7 Season 4 map and have replaced the old Sprite Chest system for finding Sprites. Players now need to locate glowing Cheat Code panels, interact with them and enter the displayed directional combination to receive a Sprite reward.
Learning the Fortnite Cheat Code locations is one of the most important changes for Sprite hunters in Override because the old Sprite Chest routes are no longer the main way to collect Sprites.
Here is how to find Fortnite Cheat Code locations, what the panels look like and the best places to search.
Where Are the Fortnite Cheat Code Locations?
Fortnite Cheat Code locations appear throughout the Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Royale map.
The panels are attached to walls and structures rather than appearing as traditional Chests.
When searching for Fortnite Cheat Code locations, check:
- Inside named POIs
- Building interiors
- Exterior walls
- Futuristic facilities
- Temple structures
- Smaller landmarks
- Areas connected to Sprite activity
- New Override locations
The full map of Fortnite Cheat Code locations is still being built as Chapter 7 Season 4 opens, but the panels are much easier to recognise once you know what they look like. The current locations appear to be as follows:
What Do Fortnite Cheat Code Panels Look Like?
Fortnite Cheat Code panels have a bright digital appearance.
They display a sequence of directional inputs such as:
- Up
- Down
- Left
- Right
The panel glows clearly against surrounding walls, making it easier to spot when moving through buildings.
If you see a brightly illuminated interface showing arrows, you have probably found one of the Fortnite Cheat Code locations.
How to Use a Fortnite Cheat Code
Once you find a Cheat Code panel:
- Approach the panel.
- Interact with it.
- Look at the directional sequence.
- Enter the combination in the correct order.
- Complete the Cheat Code.
- Receive the Sprite reward.
The combination changes depending on the panel.
Players need to copy the displayed inputs rather than using one universal Fortnite Cheat Code everywhere.
Fortnite Cheat Code Locations Replace Sprite Chests
The biggest thing returning players need to know is that Fortnite Cheat Code locations have replaced the familiar Sprite Chest system.
In Chapter 7 Season 3, players could follow reliable Sprite Chest routes to collect Sprites.
Chapter 7 Season 4 changes that completely.
Instead of searching for Sprite Chests, players should now look for Cheat Code panels.
That makes memorising the Fortnite Cheat Code locations particularly valuable for anyone trying to complete the new Sprite collection quickly.
Are There Cheat Codes at Reality’s Reign?
Reality’s Reign is one of the first places worth searching for Fortnite Cheat Code locations.
The POI contains a huge number of futuristic structures, interior walls and technological areas that fit the design of the new Cheat Code system.
Players exploring Reality’s Reign should check:
- Interior corridors
- Lower floors
- Exterior walls
- Side buildings
- Areas around large technological structures
Because Reality’s Reign is one of the busiest new POIs, searching there can be risky during the opening minutes of a match.
Are There Cheat Codes at Stone Sanctum?
Stone Sanctum is another strong location to investigate.
The large temple complex contains numerous walls, rooms and side areas where Fortnite Cheat Code locations can appear.
Players should check both the main temple and surrounding structures rather than only searching the central courtyard.
Stone Sanctum also has enough verticality that panels could be easy to miss if you only remain on ground level.
Are There Cheat Codes at Green Hill Zone?
Green Hill Zone is another important area for Sprite hunters.
The Sonic-themed POI contains several structures and environmental features that players should search carefully for Fortnite Cheat Code locations.
Because Chapter 7 Season 4 also introduces Sonic-related Sprites, Green Hill Zone is likely to be especially popular with players trying to build their Sprite collection.
Expect competition if you land there during launch week.
Are There Cheat Codes at Sunken Shores?
Sunken Shores remains on the Chapter 7 Season 4 map with its new Tetris-themed redesign.
Players searching the Fortnite Cheat Code locations should check buildings and walls throughout the POI.
The large Tetrimino structures can make the area visually busy, so the glowing Cheat Code panels may be easier to miss than they are in darker locations.
Search interiors carefully before leaving.
Do Cheat Code Locations Change?
Fortnite Cheat Code locations may not all behave like guaranteed permanent spawns.
Some panels or rewards could vary between matches.
That means finding a Cheat Code at one location does not necessarily guarantee the exact same experience every time you return.
As the Chapter 7 Season 4 map is tested more thoroughly, the most reliable Fortnite Cheat Code locations should become easier to identify.
What Do Cheat Codes Give You?
Fortnite Cheat Codes are directly connected to Sprites.
Successfully completing the input sequence provides a Sprite reward.
Different Cheat Code panels can also have different rarities, which may influence the Sprite or Sprite variant associated with the panel.
That gives players another reason to search multiple Fortnite Cheat Code locations rather than simply using the first one they find.
Fortnite Cheat Code Rarities
Fortnite Cheat Codes can appear at different rarities.
The rarity is indicated through the colour of the panel.
Rarer Fortnite Cheat Code locations may be particularly valuable for players hunting unusual Sprite variants.
Players should pay attention to the panel colour before immediately entering the combination.
What Are Cheat Master Sprites?
Cheat Master Sprites change how the normal Cheat Code system works.
When a Cheat Master Sprite is attached to a panel, players do not need to correctly reproduce the directional sequence.
Instead, any button inputs can complete the Cheat Code.
That makes these Fortnite Cheat Code locations much easier to activate.
Cheat Master variants may also become particularly desirable for collectors depending on their rarity.
How to Find Cheat Codes Faster
The easiest way to find Fortnite Cheat Code locations quickly is to use a Cheat Code Locator.
The Cheat Code Locator is one of the new Override Gizmos and reveals the nearest Cheat Code.
This means players do not need to search every wall manually.
A useful Sprite-hunting strategy is:
- Find or equip a Cheat Code Locator.
- Activate it.
- Follow the location marker.
- Reach the Cheat Code panel.
- Complete the directional sequence.
- Collect the Sprite.
- Begin moving toward extraction.
The Cheat Code Locator could become one of the strongest tools for farming Sprites efficiently.
Best Fortnite Cheat Code Locations
The best Fortnite Cheat Code locations will ultimately be the areas where players can find multiple panels while also having easy access to extraction.
Large POIs such as Reality’s Reign may provide more opportunities, but they also attract more players.
Quieter locations could offer safer Sprite hunting even if fewer panels appear nearby.
The best route will likely balance:
- Cheat Code density
- Player traffic
- Nearby loot
- Extraction access
- Mobility
- Sprite rarity
Once the map is fully tested, a dedicated Cheat Code farming route can be built around the strongest locations.
Can You Use Cheat Codes in Ranked?
Sprites are available in Chapter 7 Season 4 Ranked modes, making the new Cheat Code system relevant beyond standard Battle Royale.
The exact availability of every Cheat Code interaction may vary by playlist, but players should expect Sprites to have a larger role across the season than they did previously.
That makes learning Fortnite Cheat Code locations useful for both casual and competitive players.
Why Can’t I Find Sprite Chests?
If you are searching old Sprite Chest locations and finding nothing, the Chapter 7 Season 4 system has changed.
Sprite Chests are no longer the main Sprite source.
Instead, search for Fortnite Cheat Code locations and interact with the glowing panels.
This is one of the biggest Sprite changes introduced with Override.
Fortnite Cheat Code Locations Explained
The Fortnite Cheat Code locations are spread around the Chapter 7 Season 4 map and replace Sprite Chests as the new way to obtain Sprites.
Look for glowing panels displaying directional arrows, interact with them and copy the sequence to unlock the reward.
Reality’s Reign, Stone Sanctum, Green Hill Zone, Sunken Shores and other named POIs are all worth searching while the full Cheat Code map is established.
Players who want to find Fortnite Cheat Code locations even faster should prioritise the Cheat Code Locator Gizmo, which can point directly toward the nearest panel.
