The Dress To Impress Hunt Portal Location is at the beach in the 2024 Dress To Impress lobby, but it only becomes relevant after the collectible chain is complete. If you go there too early, the beach can look completely normal.
To make the Dress To Impress Hunt Portal Location appear, finish the poster, mannequin goggles, lamp, safety clothing, Diar Re Devolla bottle, makeup chair and runway picture stages, returning to Lana between each one.

After the final Lana conversation, return to the beach. The Dress To Impress Hunt Portal Location is there once the route has advanced to the final stage. Enter it to leave the 2024 lobby and move into the original old Dress To Impress experience.
The portal is not the end of the quest. It starts the final gameplay requirement.
What happens after entering the portal?
Once you use the Dress To Impress Hunt Portal Location, complete two rounds in the original version of DTI. The solved route then sends you back to present-time Dress To Impress to check or redeem the Blast From the Past badge.
Do not leave after only one round if you are following the documented route.
Portal not appearing
If the Dress To Impress Hunt Portal Location is missing, work backward from the last confirmed step. Make sure the runway picture registered and that you spoke to Lana afterward.
If those steps are complete, rejoin the 2024 server and return to Lana before checking the beach again.
Portal works but the badge does not
If the Dress To Impress Hunt Portal Location sends you to original DTI but the badge is still missing later, focus on the final requirement rather than restarting the collectibles.
Complete both rounds, return to modern Dress To Impress and then check again. A rejoin is worth trying before repeating the whole quest because the earlier stages are reported to autosave.
Quick portal checklist
- Finish every collectible.
- Talk to Lana after the runway picture.
- Return to the beach.
- Enter the portal.
- Play two rounds in original DTI.
- Return to present-day DTI and check the badge.
The Dress To Impress Hunt Portal Location is the handoff between the collectible half of Blast From the Past and the final two-round challenge. If it is not there, the most likely problem is an earlier stage that has not been handed in to Lana.
If you are sent into original DTI successfully, that is a strong sign the collectible half of the quest has completed. From there, concentrate on the two-round requirement and the return to modern DTI.

The easiest way to verify this part of the route is to use the beach in the old 2024 DTI lobby as the fixed landmark. Once you are there, check that all seven collectibles and the final Lana hand-in are complete. If that earlier condition is not complete, the right location can still look empty.
Treat the final portal as a single stage rather than part of a free-form scavenger hunt. When it registers, enter original DTI, finish two rounds, then return to modern DTI. That keeps the route in the intended order and makes it much easier to tell whether the next step has actually opened.
The most common source of confusion here is that reaching the beach too early makes the correct location look empty. If the expected interaction is missing, go back to Lana or refresh the 2024 server before searching somewhere else. The route is reported to autosave, so earlier successful stages should remain intact.
If you are helping another player, compare quest stages before comparing locations. Two people can stand in the same room while only one has the correct collectible active. The last Lana dialogue is usually a better progress check than whether another player can see the object.
Once this stage is complete, do not keep searching the same area for extra Hunt objects. Blast From the Past moves one step at a time, and the next useful action is the one Lana gives you after the current item has been accepted.
The Dress To Impress Hunt Portal Location is easiest to check after the previous Lana stage has definitely registered.
