Brawl Stars Thunder Frogs: Triangle Trick, Frogzilla, Gadgets and Hypercharge

Brawl Stars Thunder Frogs are a single Legendary Artillery Brawler made up of Zap, Zee and Volt, three frogs that fight together. They use Triangle Trick to place an electric damage zone, then combine into a giant Frogzilla for their Super. You’re not choosing between three separately playable characters; controlling the trio is the whole point of this Brawler.

Their biggest strength is forcing enemies to think about where they’re standing. A direct hit matters, but so does the shape of the electric triangle and the path an opponent will take to escape it. Supercell revealed the full kit with the November 2026 update, including two Gadgets, two Star Powers and a Hypercharge.

Brawl Stars Thunder Frogs: how the Triangle Trick attack works

Triangle Trick sends one frog jumping to a selected location, dealing area damage where it lands. Once a second frog jumps, electricity connects all three in a triangle. That triangle damages enemies caught inside it before the frogs come back together, with stronger damage along its sides than in the middle.

In practice, don’t treat Triangle Trick like an ordinary straight-line shot. An opponent near a wall or an objective has fewer comfortable places to move. Aim so that an edge of the triangle covers the route they want to use. The goal isn’t to draw a perfect shape every time; it’s to force a choice between taking damage and giving up ground.

There is a timing element as well. The electricity forms after the second frog moves, not after the first jump alone. If you spend your attacks without considering where the second frog will land, you can create a triangle that looks impressive but misses the fight entirely.

What happens when Brawl Stars Thunder Frogs use Frogzilla?

The Frogzilla Super combines all three frogs into one enormous frog. You can make three area-damaging jumps. The centre of each landing deals more damage, and the third jump has the biggest area. Once all three jumps are used, or when the Super’s timer runs out, the trio returns to its normal form.

Think of Frogzilla as an opportunity to control a sequence of positions. The first jump can push an enemy away from cover, while the next jump follows their escape or contests the objective. The patch notes don’t list a universal damage number for the ordinary jumps. What matters for positioning is that the third landing covers the largest area.

Because the Super can end on its timer, waiting around after the first jump can throw away the pressure it offers. The most useful time to activate it is when the enemy team has committed to a route or an objective and can’t simply walk out of every landing zone.

Brawl Stars Thunder Frogs Gadgets: Double Jumpers and Soothing Shock

Double Jumpers launches two frogs at once. It only works when you have full ammo and consumes every ammo charge, so using it carelessly can leave you with nothing ready for the next exchange. Save it for a clear opening rather than firing it into empty space.

Soothing Shock changes the next main attack triangle into a healing opportunity for allies. Anyone on your team inside that triangle receives 2,000 healing. That makes it an attractive choice when teammates regularly fight together around a fixed point, but you’ll still need to place the triangle where they can benefit.

Brawl Stars Thunder Frogs Star Powers and Hypercharge

Leech Landing restores health to the Thunder Frogs equal to 50% of the damage dealt by their Super jumps. That gives Frogzilla more staying power when the jumps actually connect. Swamp Stomps instead slows enemies caught along the edges of Triangle Trick by 15% for two seconds. It’s useful when your team can follow up on an opponent who struggles to leave the danger zone.

The Triple The Tricks Hypercharge adds another payoff to Frogzilla: the triangle made by the three Super jumps damages enemies inside for 1,050 and those on the edges for 1,500. These numbers apply to the Hypercharge triangle, not as universal damage values for every ordinary attack or jump.

If you want a simple comparison, Leech Landing helps you survive while jumping into a fight, while Swamp Stomps gives teammates an easier time catching enemies at the triangle’s edge. Choose around the problem you’re facing rather than treating either upgrade as automatically superior.

How to counter Brawl Stars Thunder Frogs

The easiest mistake when facing Brawl Stars Thunder Frogs is staying in one place after the first frog jumps. Watch for the second jump and the triangle forming between all three frogs. Moving off an edge before the electricity connects can matter more than backing away from its centre.

During Frogzilla, count the jumps and watch the third landing, which is the largest. Giving up a little space is usually preferable to remaining grouped where several teammates can be hit at once. Conversely, if you’re playing the trio, look for enemies who have already spent their movement abilities.

Supercell’s patch notes explain how every ability functions, but they don’t give a confirmed universal unlock price or drop chance. For the moment, the reliable advice is about how the kit works and how to use its positioning tools, rather than quoting an unverified release offer.
