Brawl Stars Jingle Brawls: How the One-Use Brawler Mode Works

Brawl Stars Jingle Brawls is the Christmas version of Topple the Tower, played across multiple stages with a limited Brawler roster. The catch is simple: you can only use each Brawler once during a run. When you’ve lost every Brawler in your available pool, the run is over.

That one-use rule changes how you approach matches. You can’t automatically fall back on the same comfortable pick for every stage, even if that Brawler performed brilliantly in the first game. The mode asks you to plan ahead with the characters you’re given, not just win the next fight at any cost.

The mode takes the multi-stage structure of Topple the Tower and gives it a festive theme, and you can’t tell me we don’t all love it when the festive magic appears across games? You play through several stages using a restricted pool of Brawlers. Once a Brawler has been used, that Brawler is not available to select again during the same run.

The pool is not described as an even random selection of every character you own. Supercell says it favours your highest-Trophy Brawlers. That means your most-played characters are more likely to form the group you have to manage, though the notes do not give a complete selection formula or a guaranteed list, so it may not be as clear cut as that.

A good starting approach is to look at the whole available roster before spending your favourite pick. If one character is especially well suited to a later type of fight, you may prefer to keep them ready rather than using them immediately. You still have to win the stage in front of you, of course, so saving every strong choice for later isn’t helpful either.

What happens after you use a Brawler?

In Brawl Stars Jingle Brawls, each character is a one-use resource for the current run. That is the central difference from ordinary modes where you can select your preferred Brawler repeatedly. A winning run requires you to draw on several characters, which makes a versatile roster more valuable than a single favourite.

If you lose all the Brawlers in your limited pool, your attempt ends. Supercell has not specified how many stages the run contains or described a rule that restores previously used characters following a victory. Don’t rely on a recovery mechanic that isn’t confirmed in the official announcement.

If you’re choosing between two viable characters, consider which has the clearest role in the current stage. Someone good at controlling space may be worth using when holding a point matters, while an aggressive pick might be better kept for a stage that rewards a different approach. Adapt to the actual match rather than a fixed online tier list.

Does Brawl Stars Jingle Brawls support Look For Team?

Yes. Supercell specifically added Look For Team support for this mode. That matters because your Brawler choice affects not only your own next stage, but also how well your lineup fits with the people you’re playing alongside.

Before starting a run with others, talk about the available roles if you can. You don’t need a complex plan, but it helps to avoid everyone spending their strongest option in the same early stage. A teammate’s roster may have a different mix of characters from yours.

Supercell hasn’t published a step-by-step menu path for Look For Team in this mode. Use the option shown on the live selection screen rather than an older menu screenshot.

Brawl Stars Jingle Brawls strategy: choosing your roster

Think of the roster as a collection of answers to different situations. Check which Brawlers can safely fight at range, which ones can contest tight spaces and which have a defensive option when a match goes badly. Spreading those capabilities through your run gives you more flexibility as your choices narrow.

It also helps to be realistic about when to spend a strong character. Keeping a top pick for later sounds sensible, but losing the current stage because you insisted on a weak matchup can end the attempt even sooner. Make the choice based on the map and the teammates you actually have.

The Christmas setting doesn’t by itself tell us the event’s start date, its rewards or the number of stages. Those details were not included in the November release notes, so they should be confirmed from the in-game event screen once available.
