ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades give you access to more gadgets in Speranza, including survival tools, smoke grenades, mobility equipment and stronger utility recipes. The station has three levels. Higher levels require both ordinary crafting components and specific ARC drops, so saving the right loot makes a big difference.
It’s easy to recycle a Snitch Scanner or Leaper Pulse Unit because you want more components. Both are actually needed for this station. This guide covers every level’s materials, where to hunt for the enemy parts and the full current crafting catalogue of twenty-two items.
ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades: every material cost
| Level | Items needed | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 50 Plastic Parts; 6 ARC Alloy | Build Utility Station |
| 2 | 2 Damaged Heat Sinks; 5 Electrical Components; 6 Snitch Scanners | Additional recipes |
| 3 | 3 Fried Motherboards; 5 Advanced Electrical Components; 4 Leaper Pulse Units | Final upgrade |
Every level has to be paid for separately. The full ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades cost includes all three rows, and the station needs the named items themselves, not materials gained by recycling them. Put the Snitch Scanners and Leaper Pulse Units aside until you’re ready to spend them.

Level 1: Plastic Parts and ARC Alloy
Fifty Plastic Parts and six ARC Alloy build the station. Plastic Parts are common salvage, and you can recycle unwanted loot to obtain more. ARC Alloy comes from ARC-related drops and machine wrecks. Save what you need for the Utility Station before spending it on other workshop benches.
The Level 1 ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades don’t require a quest reward or rare boss material. Once you’ve built the station, check the starting gadget recipes and what you can actually craft with your learned blueprints.
ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades: Level 2 farming
| Item | Quantity | Best source |
|---|---|---|
| Damaged Heat Sink | 2 | Technological loot areas |
| Electrical Components | 5 | Electrical loot or Refiner crafting |
| Snitch Scanner | 6 | Loot destroyed Snitch ARC machines |
Damaged Heat Sinks appear in technological salvage, so look around electronic equipment rather than residential fruit and clothing areas. Electrical Components are easier to obtain once your Refiner has the matching recipe, but don’t use up the five reserved for this upgrade.
The Snitch Scanner is dropped by Snitches. These flying machines can summon other ARC enemies, so it’s better to destroy one before it has alerted everything nearby. You need six intact Scanners for the Level 2 ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades. Don’t recycle them while you’re saving.
ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades: Level 3 and Leaper Pulse Units
| Item | Quantity | Best source |
|---|---|---|
| Fried Motherboard | 3 | Technological loot containers |
| Advanced Electrical Components | 5 | Electrical loot or advanced Refiner crafting |
| Leaper Pulse Unit | 4 | Dropped by Leaper ARC enemies |
Fried Motherboards are technological loot. Advanced Electrical Components come from higher-tier electrical loot or refining, provided the recipe is available. Both are used elsewhere, so keep the required amounts separate from your normal crafting supply.
Four Leaper Pulse Units complete the last ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades. Leapers are dangerous ground machines that close on players quickly. Fight from cover, avoid committing to an exposed position and search the wreck after the kill. Other ARC parts won’t count as Leaper Pulse Units.

All 22 gadgets available through the Utility Station
The current station catalogue includes twenty-two distinct items, including newer gear such as Tether Launcher and Grappling Hook. Older directory listings may contain only seventeen. The table shows the full item names; it does not mean every one unlocks at Level 1 without a blueprint.
| Gadget | Gadget |
|---|---|
| Advanced Camera | Photoelectric Cloak |
| Barricade Kit | Powered Descender |
| Binoculars | Raider Hatch Key |
| Blue Light Stick | Red Light Stick |
| Crash Mat | Remote Raider Flare |
| Door Blocker | Smoke Grenade |
| Firecracker | Snap Hook |
| Grappling Hook | Tagging Grenade |
| Green Light Stick | Tether Launcher |
| Li’l Smoke Grenade | Yellow Light Stick |
| Lure Grenade | Zipline |
A finished Level 3 station cannot craft an item whose separate blueprint you haven’t learned. Open a recipe to see its actual ingredient cost and whether you need to unlock it first. ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades expand your options, but crafting still uses resources every time.
What should you make first?
Smoke Grenades help break sightlines during an escape. Door Blockers and Barricade Kits can give you time inside a contested building. A Zipline or Grappling Hook opens routes you might otherwise need to climb or avoid, while a Raider Hatch Key gives you a different extraction option when you can reach an appropriate hatch.
The Tether Launcher guide covers one of the newer additions in more detail. If extraction is your main concern, our Raider Hatch Key guide covers acquisition and use. Choose recipes you’ll genuinely carry rather than learning items you don’t need yet.
ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades: what to keep in your stash
For Level 1 keep fifty Plastic Parts and six ARC Alloy. Level 2 requires two Damaged Heat Sinks, five Electrical Components and six Snitch Scanners. Level 3 needs three Fried Motherboards, five Advanced Electrical Components and four Leaper Pulse Units. All ARC Raiders Utility Station upgrades are separate from Gunsmith, Refiner and Gear Bench levels.
When you have the materials, upgrade in Speranza and inspect the newly available recipes. If you’re short of Electrical Components, the Refiner guide covers that crafting station. Keep some parts back for the gadgets you want to make after the upgrade.
