ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter is an Uncommon deployable turret recovered from Skulkers on Pendola Pass or occasionally found inside ARC Couriers. It deals nine damage per shot within 25 metres and targets ARC and Raiders without distinguishing friend from foe. Five are needed for Research Station level 2, so don’t sell your early drops if you’re still upgrading the Outpost.
Skulkers are easy to miss in the snow, and their wrecks can contain different salvage at different loot points. This guide covers reported farming areas, the fastest way to defeat one, research costs, Trial scoring and what happens when you use the Targeter against other enemies.
ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter locations and drops
Skulkers spawn on Pendola Pass, particularly around northern rock formations near Frozen River and Northern Tracks, the Commissary Supermarket area, and southern routes by Freight Terminal and Old Hamlet. These are reported encounter locations, not guaranteed positions. A Skulker may be concealed in a pale pile of rocks or already killed by another Raider.
For an ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter farming run, search a compact group of nearby possible spawns rather than crossing the map for a single marker. The southern loop from Freight Terminal towards Old Hamlet is often recommended because several Skulker areas are relatively close. Plan where you will extract before starting your hunt, using our Pendola Pass map guide.
Skulkers aren’t the only source. ARC Couriers can contain a Targeter on any map, so open one when you encounter it. This is a useful bonus drop but not a guaranteed farming method. After defeating a Skulker, search both the body and the base of its tail before moving on.

How to kill a Skulker for ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter
Aim at the small body beneath the tail, not the gun at the end of it. Community component records list around 230 body health and considerably more health on the tail weapon, approximately 1,000. Those figures describe separate destructible parts, not the Skulker’s total health. An accurate shot from a powerful Anvil or Hullcracker can quickly disable the small body, while cheaper weapons work when you have a clear close-range shot.
Skulkers may lurk in pairs, particularly around extraction approaches. Check for a second enemy before searching a wreck, because crouching to loot leaves you vulnerable. The lootable Skulker Driver is not the same item as the deployable Targeter. Our Bully, Skulker and Hydra overview explains the enemy’s broader attack pattern.

ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter stats and how to deploy it
Once you have a Targeter, equip it in a suitable quick-use slot and place it where an enemy is expected. It fires automatically at nearby ARC and Raiders within its tracking angle. It can also hit the player who placed it, so putting one across your own squad’s escape route is dangerous.

For practical ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter placement, aim it towards a doorway or narrow path rather than facing a distant target. Nine damage per shot isn’t much against a heavily armoured machine, but repeated hits can help during a controlled encounter. Give your teammates warning before deploying it and don’t cross the turret’s firing lane.
How many ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter items do you need?
Keep at least five. Research Station level 2 needs five Skulker Targeters, three Calculators and three Raider Logbooks. Further research projects reportedly require ten Targeters for the Canto Blueprint and twenty for Mobile-Fire Grip Fittings. Check the research menu on your own account before committing to a long farming session.
Shani’s Tracks of the Beast quest also includes an optional ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter delivery, as documented in The Click’s walkthrough. Completing the main quest doesn’t require that optional task; if you want its extra objective, collect one, extract and hand it to Shani. See Tracks of the Beast and Research Bench upgrades for those separate requirements.
ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter Trials damage challenge
Embark’s official Season 6 announcement names a Trial for dealing damage using Skulker Targeter. When it appears on the weekly board, set up the device where a durable ARC machine can take repeated shots. The challenge is about damage actually delivered by the turret, not about throwing it onto the ground.
The ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter damage Trial appeared during Season 6, but it does not stay on the board every week. Check the current Trials menu before gathering a dedicated loadout, and consult Trials Season 6 rewards for how weekly objectives contribute towards Maestro and Cantina Legend. Damage inflicted on yourself isn’t a useful scoring method.

Should you sell or recycle ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter?
Once the first five are reserved, an unwanted Targeter can be sold for 1,000 Coins. Current item listings show recycling yields one Simple Gun Part and one ARC Alloy, while salvaging produces only ARC Alloy. If you need the materials immediately, recycling can be reasonable; otherwise selling gives more monetary value.
Because an ARC Raiders Skulker Targeter stacks to three, a small reserve can be kept without consuming a huge number of slots. If you are regularly short on room, the Stash Upgrades guide explains ways to increase permanent storage. Save the components you’ll actually need before clearing inventory.
