PUBG Esports Points 2027 will be earned through results at the PUBG Global Series (PGS), with points accumulated over the year counting towards qualification for the PUBG Global Championship (PGC). KRAFTON is replacing the separate regional PGC Points and PGS Points systems with one global scoring system.
Regional Leagues remain the route into PGS, but a good regional finish no longer earns a separate share of PGC qualification points. Teams first qualify for the global stage, then earn Esports Points through their PGS performance.
PUBG Esports Points 2027: how the system works
Four competitive phases are planned for 2027, each with a Regional League followed by PGS. Teams earn Esports Points from their finishes at those global events. The total adds up over the season, rather than starting again when a new phase begins.
KRAFTON has confirmed where the points come from, not the exact numerical scoring chart. Those placement values and the detailed PGC qualification rules will be published in a separate update.

How 2027 Esports Points differ from 2026
| Competition result | 2026 system | 2027 system |
|---|---|---|
| Regional League results | Regional PGC Points could count towards PGC | Qualifies teams for that phase’s PGS; does not award Esports Points |
| PGS placement | PGS Points in a separate global standings system | Earns cumulative PUBG Esports Points |
| Year-end world championship | Multiple points and qualification paths | New PGS-based Esports Points count towards PGC qualification |
Previously, regional results earned PGC Points while global PGS finishes earned PGS Points. That gave Regional Leagues their own points pathway towards the world championship. In 2027, the two systems are being replaced by PUBG Esports Points.
Regional performance still matters because it gets teams to PGS. The difference is what happens afterwards: only their placement on the global stage adds to the new year-long championship points total.
Do Esports Points carry between PGS phases?
Yes. PUBG Esports Points earned at PGS carry through the season. If a team performs well in an early phase, those points remain part of its total as later PGS events take place.
The team doesn’t keep its PGS place automatically, though. It must qualify through the next phase’s Regional League. PGS entry resets each phase; the Esports Points total does not.

Can Regional Leagues award PUBG Esports Points 2027?
No. Regional League placements decide which teams reach PGS. They do not award the new PUBG Esports Points directly. A team needs a result at the global event to add to its season total.
KRAFTON is dividing EMEA into Europe, Eurasia and MENA, and the Americas into North and South America, while adding India as a region. Those divisions determine the first step into PGS. Our qualification guide explains the new regional route.
How PUBG Esports Points 2027 help teams reach PGC
Accumulated points from the four PGS phases count towards the 2027 PUBG Global Championship, planned for late November to early December. Phase 4 is scheduled to finish in early November, ahead of that season finale.
The full placement-by-placement scoring table and PGC qualification thresholds are due in a later official announcement. For now, the rule that teams can plan around is clear: reach PGS through the region and earn championship points by performing there.
PUBG Esports Points 2027: the four-phase calendar
Phase 1 begins in late March, with the first PGS taking place within the late-March to early-May phase window. Phase 2 runs from mid-May to mid-June, before Nations Cup in early July. Phases 3 and 4 follow from August through early November.
Our PUBG Esports 2027 schedule sets out each window. PUBG Esports Points 2027 make every PGS performance part of the same year-long PGC race, while every phase still offers a new chance to qualify through Regional Leagues.
