Stellar Blade Bayonetta Outfits include four free costumes for EVE arriving on 5 November 2026 at 3 PM GMT. They are based on Bayonetta, Jeanne and Nun, with a fourth original design called Black Tresses unveiled during Tokyo Game Show 2026. All four are coming to PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
The Switch 2 release arrives at the same time, but these costumes aren’t exclusive to Nintendo. Existing PS5 and PC players get them too, without paying for another copy. Here’s a closer look at the designs, the UK release hour and how to change EVE’s outfit.
All Four Stellar Blade Bayonetta Outfits

SHIFT UP showed the first three outfits with a fourth costume hidden as a silhouette. The fourth was then shown at Tokyo Game Show, and PlatinumGames confirmed the original design was created by SHIFT UP CEO and Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung-tae.
Bayonetta
EVE wears Bayonetta’s signature black look, with gold detailing, long gloves, glasses and a towering hairstyle. It’s an instantly recognisable tribute to the Umbra Witch, reworked as a Nano Suit for EVE rather than a separate playable character.
Jeanne
Jeanne’s glossy red outfit comes with a high dark collar, red glasses and a short hairstyle. The look stands apart from Bayonetta’s black suit and draws on Jeanne’s appearance as a fellow Umbra Witch.
Nun
The Nun outfit recreates Bayonetta’s striking white-and-black disguise, complete with its hood and round glasses. It’s the brightest of the three costumes in SHIFT UP’s original reveal.
Black Tresses
Black Tresses was the mystery silhouette in the first teaser. Stellar Blade director Kim Hyung-tae designed the new costume, which was revealed at Tokyo Game Show 2026. Rather than reproducing an existing outfit, it mixes Bayonetta’s style with Stellar Blade’s.
Together, the Stellar Blade Bayonetta Outfits give EVE three familiar looks and one original design. The collaboration is about her wardrobe, not a separate playable character or campaign.
Stellar Blade Bayonetta Outfits Release Date and Platforms
The UK release is Thursday, 5 November at 3 PM GMT, at the same time as the Switch 2 Complete Edition digital launch. The global release happens at 7 AM PST on 5 November in the US Pacific region and 12 AM JST/KST on Friday, 6 November in Japan and South Korea.
The free costumes arrive for PlayStation 5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. The Stellar Blade Bayonetta Outfits are not exclusive to Nintendo, and owning the PS5 or PC version is enough to receive the collaboration on its scheduled release date.
How to Get Stellar Blade Bayonetta Outfits

The collaboration will be free across all three platforms. On Switch 2, the four looks are part of the launch offering for Complete Edition. On PS5 and PC, they come with the free November collaboration release. There is no additional paid Bayonetta costume pack.
On PS5 and PC, install the free collaboration update when it arrives on 5 November. The Switch 2 Complete Edition includes the collaboration at launch. After obtaining a Nano Suit in-game, you can equip it from EVE’s appearance options.
To change a collected outfit, open the pause menu, choose Equipment and go to Exterior. Select EVE’s Nano Suit slot and pick the look you want to wear. Glasses and earrings have separate accessory slots.
Are Bayonetta Outfits in the Switch 2 Complete Edition?
Yes. The Switch 2 Complete Edition sells for £54.99 in the UK and also includes the NieR:Automata DLC, GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE DLC and a collection of Stargazer cosmetics and bonus currency. Some included crossover activities become available after progressing through the main story.
The Stellar Blade Bayonetta Outfits are separate from the three cosmetics advertised for Switch 2 preorders: Planet Diving Suit (White Edition), Classic Round Glasses and Ear Armour Earrings. Those are early unlocks attached to qualifying preorders, not extra pieces of the Bayonetta collaboration.
Is Stellar Blade Bayonetta DLC Free?
Yes. Every costume in the Stellar Blade Bayonetta Outfits collection is free on all three platforms, with Black Tresses completing the four-outfit set. There is no additional paid Bayonetta pack to buy.
On Switch 2, the costumes join the NieR:Automata and NIKKE crossover content bundled with Complete Edition. On PS5 and PC, they arrive as a free update to the existing game.
