BGSI Luminant Egg Odds stretch from ordinary hatches to pets so rare that even a long session may not come close. The egg arrived in Bubble Gum Simulator INFINITY on October 17 with pets including Luminant Doggy, Luminant Shard and The Luminance. A specialist community database has recorded chances for five of the original pets, giving collectors a useful starting point when choosing a target.
There’s an important update to the BGSI Luminant Egg Odds: Rumble Studios added three more pets to the Luminant Egg on October 23. Their names and rates weren’t listed in the announcement. The figures below therefore cover the five recorded October 17 pets, not the complete current roster. It is worth knowing which version of an egg list you are reading before making a trade or settling in for a long hatching session.
Recorded BGSI Luminant Egg Odds for the original five
The entries behind the BGSI Luminant Egg Odds table identify the Luminant Egg as their source and date their addition to October 17, 2026. Their listed base chances range from 1 in 2 for Luminant Doggy to 1 in 2.5 trillion for The Luminance. These enormous differences are the reason a general recommendation to hatch until you get something rare is not much use. Picking one pet as a goal makes the time and luck involved easier to understand.

The BGSI Luminant Egg Odds shown here come from BGSI.IO’s individual pet records, an independent player-facing catalog, rather than a verified screenshot of the October 23 egg panel. Updates, variants and active bonuses may change your effective odds. The numbers are not an endorsement of any claim that one million hatches or a particular potion guarantees a reward.
| Pet | Rarity | Catalog base chance |
|---|---|---|
| Luminant Doggy | Common | 1 in 2 |
| Luminant Cube | Epic | 1 in 25 |
| Luminant Guardian | Legendary | 1 in 6,666,667 |
| Luminant Shard | Secret | 1 in 2,500,000,000 |
| The Luminance | Infinity | 1 in 2,500,000,000,000 |
Why The Luminance is not another Secret pet
When reading the BGSI Luminant Egg Odds table, Luminant Shard and The Luminance sound related, but they sit in different rarity categories. Shard is a Secret; The Luminance is an Infinity. If a potion or pass bonus names specific rarities, read what it actually affects before assuming both pets benefit in the same way. The difference matters more here than it would between two ordinary low-rarity hatches.
The Luminance should also not be confused with an older pet called OG Luminance in previous Halloween records. The 2026 Luminant Egg and the earlier year’s content are not interchangeable. INFINITY itself is a different Roblox experience from the original Bubble Gum Simulator, which has its own Halloween pets and code lists. When checking a trade offer, match the full pet name and variant instead of relying on a familiar-looking thumbnail.
What the odds actually mean during a long hatch session
The 1 in 2.5 billion figure in the BGSI Luminant Egg Odds table isn’t a countdown to a guaranteed Shard. Every hatch is another chance, and randomness can give you a long run of misses or an unusually early success. Even if you could hatch that many eggs, a pet with that base chance still wouldn’t be certain. The number describes a very rare outcome, not the precise hatch when it will arrive.

For a practical comparison of BGSI Luminant Egg Odds, consider a pet with a 1 in 25 recorded chance. You could hatch it early, miss several times in a row or see repeated copies. Moving from that scale to a Legendary listed at 1 in about 6.7 million is a completely different commitment. Do not compare a handful of unsuccessful hatches on the Luminant Guardian to somebody else’s success as though the game owed both accounts the same result.
Global Egg Luck adds a moving part to BGSI Luminant Egg Odds. Rumble Studios says the Luminant Egg becomes luckier as more players hatch it. What that means numerically for each pet, and how personal bonuses stack with it, hasn’t been published in the developer’s announcement. If the live egg preview displays modified rates while you’re playing, those are more relevant to that particular session than a static October 17 catalog number.
What changed for BGSI Luminant Egg Odds on October 23?
Part 2.5 expanded the existing Luminant Egg rather than replacing it, so the older BGSI Luminant Egg Odds still help explain the original pets. They won’t tell you the chances of the three new arrivals. The three added pets need a current, dated roster and verified chances before anyone can honestly call a table complete. Be particularly careful with screenshots that don’t show when they were taken.
After October 23, check the egg preview for the full pet name, rarity and displayed chance. See whether a temporary boost is active, and look at its remaining duration before starting a long session. If you are trading rather than hatching, ask which version or variant of a pet is being offered. Neither an older odds table nor somebody else’s exceptional hatch is a guarantee of the result you will get.
Rumble Studios confirms the October 23 pet additions on its official INFINITY page. Until their individual chances are recorded reliably, the five-pet table remains a useful picture of the original egg rather than a complete list of today’s possibilities. Pick the pet you want, check its current chance and don’t let a huge-looking number convince you that a hatch is ever guaranteed.
