Pokémon GO Night Out 2026 arrives at London’s The O2 Arena on Tuesday 10 November 2026, with Pikachu and Gengar raids, special London Location Backgrounds, wild Unown and venue-exclusive Timed Research. The bonuses accompany the Pokémon Night Out concert headlined by Marshmello, with Alison Wonderland supporting.
If you’re going, open Pokémon GO as soon as you reach the event venue and check for your research. The O2 doors open at 6pm, but that is the concert admission time, not a separately confirmed start time for the game’s bonuses. Here is what to look for and how to make the most of the night.
Pokémon GO Night Out 2026: London date and venue
The London show takes place at The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX, on 10 November. The organiser lists 6pm GMT doors, Alison Wonderland at 7:30pm and Marshmello at 8:45pm. These are confirmed concert times. Pokémon GO has not specified matching start and finish times for its in-game features.
The Pokémon GO Night Out 2026 bonuses are intended for Trainers attending the event in person. A concert ticket is required for entry to the arena, while the game announcement does not list a separate paid Pokémon GO event pass. Our Pokémon Night Out London tickets guide covers the show itself.
Pokémon GO Night Out 2026 raids and London Location Backgrounds
Two special raid bosses are announced for the London event. Pokémon caught from these particular raids receive a London Location Background in their summary. That effect is not being granted to every Pokémon caught around The O2.
| Raid tier | Pokémon | Reward feature |
|---|---|---|
| One-star | Pikachu | London Location Background; Shiny possible |
| Three-star | Gengar | London Location Background; Shiny possible |
Pikachu and Gengar are both Shiny-eligible, although neither encounter is guaranteed to be Shiny. The Pokémon GO Night Out 2026 announcement does not publish special Shiny odds. If you want to collect Pokémon with the London background, look for the event raids rather than unrelated raids nearby.
It is worth putting your raid team together before you arrive. Pikachu’s one-star battle is lighter than Gengar’s three-star raid, and our raid attackers guide can help with your general team choices.
Pokémon GO Night Out 2026 Timed Research and Toxtricity
Open the game at the venue to receive up to two Timed Research opportunities. Pokémon has announced encounters with event-themed Pokémon including Amped Form Toxtricity and Low Key Form Toxtricity, as well as a Pokémon Night Out baseball jersey for your avatar. The full step-by-step task table has not been released in the advance announcement.
If you already claimed the jersey Timed Research offered during the 24 October Los Angeles Twitch livestream, you will not receive that same avatar-item research again in London. This restriction does not remove access to the venue’s raids, wild encounters or other available bonuses.
For Pokémon GO Night Out 2026, check the Timed Research tab when you first open the game at The O2. Read any task deadline displayed there before focusing on the concert. An official venue research end time has not been published, so do not assume the ticket’s show time is also the research expiry.
Pokémon GO Night Out 2026 wild encounters and Unown
Fourteen Pokémon are scheduled to appear more frequently around the venue, and three Unown letters can appear as rarer encounters. All the featured species below are marked as Shiny-eligible in the official notice:
| Encounter | Pokémon |
|---|---|
| Wild encounters | Gastly, Voltorb, Alolan Marowak, Hoothoot, Murkrow, Houndour, Electrike |
| More wild encounters | Carvanha, Shinx, Zorua, Joltik, Froakie, Dedenne, Rookidee |
| Rare encounters | Unown P, Unown N, Unown O |
If you collect Unown letters, watch your nearby spawns during Pokémon GO Night Out 2026. P, N and O are listed as less common than the regular event encounters. Shiny availability does not mean that any one encounter will be Shiny. Our Shiny odds guide explains how that distinction works.
Pokémon GO Night Out 2026 one-hour Lure Modules
Lure Modules last one hour when activated during the event, except for Golden Lure Modules. This is a location-based bonus for attending Trainers, not a global change to lure duration. Check the PokéStops around the venue and use any lures you have planned to bring.
Our Pokémon GO Lure Modules guide covers the different types. Keep safety and venue movement rules in mind as you play around a busy concert crowd.
Can you play Pokémon GO Night Out 2026 from home?
The London raids, local wild encounters and venue Timed Research require being at the physical event location. Opening the app elsewhere in London or from home will not reproduce the event’s local spawns and raid rewards. Pokémon GO has not advertised a separate virtual ticket for these on-site features.
The Los Angeles concert was livestreamed on Twitch on 24 October, when eligible viewers could earn a code for the jersey research after watching for 30 minutes. That livestream is now in the past. It is not a fresh drop for the 10 November London show. Our Twitch Drop guide
How to prepare for Pokémon GO Night Out 2026
Update Pokémon GO, charge your phone, check your raid passes and plan to look at your available research after arriving. If raids and rare Unown are your priority, make time for them around the artist sets rather than assuming you can finish every task after the concert. For the official doors and performance schedule, see our London Night Out concert guide.
