Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block is a limited M700 Sniper Rifle attachment introduced with the October 15 Polaris Patrol update. You can get it through the Auction House, find it at a low drop rate from Large Weapon Crates, or craft it after Polaris Patrol reaches the Hunter stage.
The crafting route is the most controlled option, but it is not available immediately. Garena says Hunter-stage crafting is limited to 10 Enhanced Gas Blocks per week, so the Auction House and crate drop remain useful if the event has not reached Hunter yet or you have already hit the weekly crafting cap.
How to get Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block
There are three confirmed ways to get the Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block. Garena lists direct Auction House purchases, low-chance drops from Large Weapon Crates in Operations and limited weekly crafting once Polaris Patrol reaches Hunter.
| Acquisition route | Requirement | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Auction House | Buy an available listing | Depends on listings and price |
| Large Weapon Crates | Find and open crates in-match | Low drop chance |
| Crafting | Polaris Patrol reaches Hunter stage | 10 per week |
When can you craft the Enhanced Gas Block?
Crafting unlocks when Delta Force Polaris Patrol reaches the Hunter stage. Garena ties the unlock to the event’s overall progression rather than a personal Operator level or a normal weapon mastery requirement.
Once Hunter is active, the Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block can be crafted up to ten times per week. The official update does not list an unlimited catch-up allowance, so treat the ten-per-week figure as the active cap rather than saving all crafting for the end of the event.
Can you buy the Enhanced Gas Block before Hunter stage?
Yes. The Hunter-stage restriction is attached to crafting, not the entire attachment. Garena says the new Haavk attachments are available through the Auction House and Large Weapon Crates during the event.
If another player lists a Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block, the Auction House gives you a direct route without waiting for the crafting milestone. The price is market-driven, so compare listings instead of assuming the first one is good value.
Where does the Enhanced Gas Block drop?
The in-match source is Large Weapon Crates. Garena describes the chance as low, so opening one crate is not a guaranteed attachment drop.
This route makes more sense if you are already running Operations for Polaris Patrol, loot or challenge progress. Farming Large Weapon Crates only for the Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block can be less predictable than crafting or buying because the official notes give no published drop percentage.
Which weapon uses the HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block?
Garena identifies the Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block as an exclusive attachment for the M700 Sniper Rifle. It appears in the Polaris Patrol reward section alongside the M700 – Serenity weapon appearance.
That is separate from the similarly named HVK Whirlwind Frame System also added in the October update. Both belong to the new Haavk attachment set, but they are distinct attachment items rather than two names for the same unlock.
Enhanced Gas Block vs HVK Whirlwind Frame System
The October 15 notes introduce two limited Haavk attachments: the HVK Whirlwind Frame System and the Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block. Garena gives both the Auction House and Large Weapon Crate routes, while specifically calling out the Gas Block as the M700 attachment tied to Polaris Patrol’s Hunter-stage crafting.
Check the exact attachment name before spending at the Auction House. The shared “HVK Whirlwind” naming makes it easy to confuse the Frame System with the Enhanced Gas Block when you are searching listings quickly.
How long is the Haavk attachment event available?
The Haavk Attachments event runs from October 16 to November 9, 2026. That is the confirmed limited-time window for the new attachment event, while Polaris Patrol itself continues until January 27, 2027.
Because the Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block is explicitly listed under the limited attachment event, use November 9 as the deadline for the current Auction House/crate event route unless Garena extends or reintroduces it later.
Best way to get the Enhanced Gas Block
If Polaris Patrol has already reached Hunter, crafting is the route with the clearest limit and the least dependence on luck. Use the weekly allowance if you need copies, then compare Auction House prices rather than chasing crate RNG after the cap.
Before Hunter stage, the Auction House is the fastest direct option if listings are affordable. Large Weapon Crates are the no-purchase alternative, but the Delta Force HVK Whirlwind Enhanced Gas Block only has a low chance to appear there.
