Creatures of Sonaria Halloween Missions began October 9 with Scion of Oblivion, Study Oblivix Spawn and Masters of Oblivion. The quests unlock Oblivix or award 200 and 400 Candy. Some activities require a pack, so it matters which mission you’re completing.

Creatures of Sonaria Halloween Missions in Week 3
New Creatures of Sonaria Halloween Missions are advertised for the October 23 update at 20:30 UTC (9:30 PM BST). Sonar Studios has announced a new creature nicknamed Clawed Spore, a Cursed subspecies and more cosmetics. The event preview hasn’t disclosed specific new quest names, objectives or rewards, so the verified Week 1 requirements below shouldn’t be mistaken for the Week 3 creature unlock.
Once the update launches, open the Halloween mission panel for the new creature reward and check the Sub-Species menu for the Cursed form. These Creatures of Sonaria Halloween Missions have a 24-hour cooldown in the event’s Week 1 documentation. Claim the completed rewards from the event panel, rather than expecting every task to automatically add a new species to your inventory.
Scion of Oblivion: how to finish the species mission
Scion of Oblivion has four challenges: four complete Oblivix Idol runs, three Oblivionth eggs hatched, five Potion Rush runs and twenty Oblivionths defeated. The reward is Oblivix, not a fixed Candy payout. Count completed minigames rather than individual pillars or ingredient deposits.

How to complete Oblivix Idol missions
Oblivix Idol locations include Mountains, Central Rockfaces and Forgotten Shores. Fight through three waves of three pillars each while hostile Oblivionths interfere. Up to two players can attack the same pillar, and a successful skill check deals extra damage to it.
If you miss a skill check, the pillar briefly recovers. The mission counter advances when the minigame is finished. For Creatures of Sonaria Halloween Missions you need one, two or four complete Idol runs depending on the reward you’re chasing.
Study Oblivix Spawn: 200 Candy objectives
Complete one Idol, hatch two eggs, consume 100 water units, consume 100 food units and survive fifteen minutes. This mission doesn’t specify pack requirements. You can work on the food, water and survival tasks while waiting for Oblivionth eggs to hatch.
The 200 Candy is awarded from the mission. Potion Rush team points and Idol Treat contributions won’t automatically turn into shop currency.
Masters of Oblivion: 400 Candy pack objectives
Finish two Idols, hatch four Oblivionth eggs while in a pack, drink 300 water units while in a pack, eat 300 food units while in a pack and defeat 15 Oblivionths while in a pack. The 400-Candy reward makes it attractive, but don’t attempt those pack-marked tasks alone.
If a counter stays frozen, check whether you joined a pack before attempting it. That’s a much more specific troubleshooting step than assuming the event has broken.
How Oblivionth eggs work in Halloween missions
Destroy egg clusters to produce an egg, then stop looking at it for about five minutes to allow hatching. You can also feed and grow an Oblivionth for 15 Trick points or lead it to a banishing portal for 15 Treat points. Those team points don’t replace the egg-hatch objective in the mission panel.
The kill counters are separate. Defeating an Oblivionth advances the relevant mission when all its other requirements, including pack membership where specified, are satisfied.
Potion Rush: complete five full rounds
Potion Rush takes place at Jerry’s Cauldrons. Each round lasts 60 seconds and has a five-minute cooldown. Grab mushrooms for one point, flowers for two or crystals for five, then take each ingredient back to the cauldron. Flying is disabled.
The Scion of Oblivion requirement is five complete rounds. Five deposited ingredients in one game do not equal five completed minigames. A successful round also contributes five Trick or Treat points to the selected team.
Why Creatures of Sonaria Halloween Missions aren’t progressing
Read the wording of the specific objective. Check whether you’re counting completed Idols rather than pillars, successful Potion Rush rounds rather than ingredients, eggs actually hatched rather than clusters destroyed, and pack-based actions while you’re in a pack.
