ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues changed again with Update 2.2.0 on October 20, 2026. Tether Launchers can now be repaired in-round, and several Frigate, Grappling Hook, Pendola Pass and UI problems have been fixed. However, To the Skies can still softlock after partial installation progress, and some When Everything Falls photo objectives still fail.
After the October 9 and 13 hotfixes, the October 20 patch addresses several additional complaints. The current outstanding list is more useful than the launch-week reports, because some problems described earlier have since been fixed.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues in Update 2.3.0
Embark’s 27 October 2026 patch leaves these problems explicitly unresolved: To the Skies can block after partial installation and extraction; When Everything Falls may not count photos such as Port A; Clean Hands can become impossible if Equatorial Sundial is lost or sold; Reclaimers sometimes fail to dock at the Frigate or push players off while vaulting; Xbox crashes, oversized weapon models, Raider Tool skins displaying the default, Grappling Hook bounces and a Pendola Pass Railroad stuck spot remain.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues aren’t all covered by the same fix. The October 27 update repairs downed Raiders losing health in Ballistic Gondolas, improves Frigate cargo and wing collision, repairs upper Emperor compactor hazards and multiple ceiling gaps, and adds clearer Frigate progress cues. It also fixes Grappling Hook rope, debris and tether behaviour, but not the high bounce after falling while hooked.
If a quest objective fails to register, preserve its required items and check its progress before extracting. Don’t sell the Sundial until Clean Hands completes. Embark lists no date for the remaining blockers, and the Projects tab notification-dot fix does not mean the quests above were repaired.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues still unresolved on October 27
| Problem | Current status |
|---|---|
| To the Skies | Partial install followed by extraction can block completion |
| When Everything Falls | Photo objectives may fail |
| Clean Hands | Lost or sold Sundial can softlock |
| Frigate Reclaimer | Docking and vaulting problems remain |
| Xbox | Some crashes remain |
| Raider Tool, guns, Grappling Hook, Railroad | Visual glitches, bouncing and a stuck location remain |
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues: Fixed in Update 2.2.0
Embark says it fixed Tether Launchers not being repairable during raids, missing sounds when looting containers, Frigate cargo movement and damage problems, several Grappling Hook transitions, and collision spots near the fallen Emperor. The Geometric Fabric Chair Design should also be granted after consuming its blueprint. A broken basic-workbench screen when using the last Outpost slot has been repaired.
Quest fixes: To the Skies can finish at one installation point on any eligible map, and Belly of the Beast now checks the correct item for its optional objective. The Reward Pass also has newly added, removed and rebalanced Feats. The notes don’t list every changed Feat, so a full comparison needs the live in-game list.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues still outstanding after October 20
Embark still acknowledges To the Skies becoming blocked after extracting with partial installation progress, When Everything Falls photos such as Port A failing to count, and Clean Hands softlocking when the Equatorial Sundial is lost or sold. Other known issues include some Gondola deaths while downed, Xbox crashes, Grappling Hook launching players upwards and failing inside the Matriarch shield, and ARC Reclaimers failing to dock on the Frigate.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues Fixed October 9
The October 9 Hotfix 2.0.2 tackled five launch problems: partly invisible weapons when attachments were installed, missing weapon models in inventory, several server crashes, a grate on Pendola Pass that could trap players, and DLC purchase errors. Those particular reports are no longer outstanding, although the crash fixes don’t guarantee the game can never crash again.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues Fixed October 13
Update 2.1.0 fixes Picking Up the Pieces objectives not registering on Pendola Pass. You can finish the quest at the indicated loot-icon locations rather than taking the old detour onto another map. Sizing Things Up also plays its completion cinematic properly, while progress bars displayed in Speranza have been corrected. Field Repair now works when unlocked during an existing play session, so a restart should no longer be necessary. Field Salvaging’s mid-session item display and camera behaviour during interrupted skill actions were repaired too.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues: Reward Pass and Weight
Reward Pass progression and milestone displays were fixed on October 13. The End-of-Round screen no longer adds earlier milestones to your latest results, the tile shows the correct completed-level count, and the details screen names your active pass. Check which pass you have selected before reporting that Reward Points went missing. Broad Shoulders now applies its carry-weight allowance as soon as a raid starts. Loadout weight and skill bonuses also display correctly, fixing cases where Raiders couldn’t sprint despite being within the increased limit. Our Reward Pass guide covers the updated progression screens.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues: Gondola and Grappling Hook
Players being eliminated while extracting inside a Gondola on Pendola Pass was fixed in 2.1.0. The Grappling Hook also handles rooftop and ledge vaulting more reliably, and no longer detaches from fast-moving objects such as the Ballistic Gondola. Rope wrapping, end-of-climb auto-vaulting and zero-durability behaviour were improved. Gondola map and compass detection range increased from 120 to 175 metres. These are useful changes if you previously avoided risky extraction routes because of the launch glitches.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues: Frigate Cargo
Embark adjusted cargo drops to prevent unintended knockouts and improved collision around the Frigate’s curved surfaces. Drop points on Pendola Pass were moved to more accessible positions. However, the earlier Hydra report about shooting through Cargo-area walls isn’t specifically declared fixed. Don’t rely on a wall that Hydra still seems able to target through. Opening Frigate hatches now inflict burning damage over time; that’s an intentional new hazard, not a bug. See the Frigate guide for the route and Hydra fight.

ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues: Outpost Fixes
Installed module recipes now disappear from the Outpost tracker once completed. The project completion notification dot appears correctly, and Embark fixed the decorating camera returning to the wrong room or remaining unfocused when exiting Customization. These fixes don’t explicitly cover all original furniture complaints: objects clipping into buildings, blocked placement slots, table interactions and lighting corruption with Low shadows still lack individual closure in the October 13 notes. Our Outpost guide covers construction and research.

ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues Still Unresolved or Unconfirmed
Not every item in the original Frozen Trail report has a corresponding October 13 fix. The October 13 patch did not restore the missing Tether Launcher repair interaction, but Update 2.2.0 on October 20 now fixes it. Hydra detecting or firing through Frigate Cargo walls has no named repair. Rare invisible player spawns that prevent looting, non-English keyboard bindings resetting after raids, and Hullcracker damage counting towards the Light Impact Grenades Feat aren’t specifically closed either. Embark’s original advice for an affected invisible player was to return to Speranza, which should preserve the loadout from before the raid.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues: Premium Icons and Workarounds
The new patch fixes a Premium icon on certain completion-screen buttons, but it doesn’t explicitly confirm that every persistent lock icon on purchased Premium Reward Pass tiles is gone. Check whether the rewards are claimable before assuming a purchase is missing. For Picking Up the Pieces, visit the marked Pendola Pass objective after updating. For Field Repair, check that you’ve actually unlocked the skill. For Reward Pass trouble, confirm the selected pass and compare Feat progress with its level count. Avoid deleting saves or discarding valuable gear based on an old workaround.
ARC Raiders Frozen Trail Known Issues After Update 2.1.0
If a supposedly fixed issue still happens, record the specific objective, map, platform and installed game version before reporting it to Embark. A similar-looking bug can have a different cause. The October 9 and October 13 notes describe specific repairs, not a guarantee that every crash, collision issue or Outpost problem has disappeared.
