Marvel’s Wolverine all claws include 22 base-game claw styles plus five additional designs in the Digital Deluxe Edition, with Reflective Claws offered as a pre-order early unlock.
How Marvel’s Wolverine all claws work
| Claw style | Unlock route |
|---|---|
| Reflective Claws | Pre-order early unlock |
| Smooth-Edged Claws | Digital Deluxe |
| Hollow Blade Claws | Digital Deluxe |
| Thick Claws | Digital Deluxe |
| Serrated Spine Claws | Digital Deluxe |
| Tapered Claws | Digital Deluxe |
| Flat-Edged Claws | Silver: Last Stand at Cold Pines |
| Gold Claws | Silver: Crucible of Tears |
| Diamond Claws | Silver: Savage Showdown |
Claw styles are cosmetic. A jagged or polished set does not secretly add damage, range or a better parry window, so you can match the look to the suit without damaging a build. Standard progression unlocks the base collection, while several notable claw styles also come from Nightmare Trial rewards and other challenge milestones.
Base-game claws: 22
Digital Deluxe claws: 5 additional styles
Pre-order early unlock: Reflective Claws
Combat effect: Cosmetic only
Digital Deluxe claw styles
Marvel’s Wolverine all claws are not all included with the standard edition. The Deluxe pack adds Smooth-Edged Claws, Hollow Blade Claws, Thick Claws, Serrated Spine Claws and Tapered Claws. These five are the edition-exclusive group and sit alongside the five Deluxe suits.
Reflective Claws are different. PlayStation described them as an early unlock for pre-orders, so they should not be confused with the five Deluxe-only sets. If you bought the standard edition and pre-ordered it, Reflective Claws are still part of that bonus package.

Nightmare Trial claw rewards
Some of the most obvious challenge-based claws come from Nightmare Trials. Flat-Edged Claws are tied to a Silver rating in Last Stand at Cold Pines, Gold Claws come from Silver in Crucible of Tears, and Diamond Claws come from Silver in Savage Showdown. These are useful targets once the Nightmare Cabin opens up as a proper replay and challenge space.
That means Marvel’s Wolverine all claws cannot be finished by story progress alone. If your cosmetic menu still has gaps after the campaign, check Nightmare Trial ratings before assuming you missed a normal mission pickup.
Do claw styles affect combat?
No. The appearance changes, but Logan’s actual combat power comes from Techniques, Special Techniques, Rage, Adaptations and story abilities such as the Helix Claws. Cosmetic claw sets do not replace those systems. You can equip a dramatic claw design and still use exactly the same moves and damage tools.
Marvel’s Wolverine all claws are therefore ideal Photo Mode rewards. Pick the visual style you like, then build combat around Techniques rather than trying to read stats from the cosmetic menu.
How to clean up missing claws
Finish the story first, then use the Nightmare Cabin to revisit challenges and missions. Check which Nightmare Trials still need a Silver rating and compare the cosmetic menu with the Deluxe content attached to your account. If a Deluxe-only claw is missing on a standard copy, that is an edition issue rather than an in-game collectible problem.
For Marvel’s Wolverine all claws completion, it is also worth keeping suits and claws mentally separate. Crafting suits raises maximum health, while claw cosmetics do not. Chasing a missing claw can be fun, but it is not required for the Adamantium Armory health trophy.
Marvel’s Wolverine all claws: Check trial rewards before searching the whole map
Several claw styles are tied to clear performance goals rather than hidden pickups. If a claw is still locked late in the game, inspect the Nightmare Trial rewards before assuming you missed a chest or story interaction. Silver ratings are especially important for the Flat-Edged, Gold and Diamond claw styles.
That makes claw cleanup much cleaner than a map sweep: identify the locked cosmetic, match it to its source, then replay only the trial or progression step that awards it.
Marvel’s Wolverine all claws is therefore a trial-and-progression cleanup job, not a reason to search every corner of the world for hidden metal pickups.
Cosmetic claws do not change Logan’s combat stats
The claw styles are cosmetic, so there is no stronger damage option hidden behind one particular metal finish. Pick the design that works with the suit you are wearing rather than saving a favorite set for a harder fight. The useful unlock distinction is where the style comes from: some are part of normal progression, some are tied to Nightmare Trial ratings, and five extra styles belong to the Digital Deluxe Edition.
If you are clearing the base-game collection, the Nightmare Trials are worth revisiting as soon as your build is comfortable. Flat-Edged Claws come from earning Silver in Last Stand at the Cold Pines Gauntlet, Gold Claws are tied to Silver in Crucible of Tears, and Diamond Claws are tied to Silver in Savage Showdown. Those are score goals, not random drops, so you can work on them directly.
