BTD6 Round 78 has two Ceramic rushes: 75 ordinary Ceramics and 72 Camo Ceramics. The round also includes Rainbows, a BFB and Purples, so piling all your money into one Camo tower will not solve every problem.
If MOAR Glaives or Recursive Cluster cleared the first Ceramic group but the final wave sailed straight through, your crowd damage probably lacks Camo vision. Put those towers inside a Radar Scanner Village’s range or strip Camo before the rush reaches them, while keeping enough blimp damage for the BFB.
How to beat BTD6 Round 78
Start by identifying your main Ceramic-clearer. MOAR Glaives, Recursive Cluster and other area-damage attacks can handle packed bloons when they cover enough of the lane. For BTD6 Round 78, however, you must also ask whether those attacks can target Camo. If not, consider a Monkey Village with Radar Scanner covering the tower.
Radar Scanner gives Camo detection to towers inside its range, but it does not increase their raw Ceramic damage. A Village cannot rescue a defence that was already struggling with ordinary Ceramics; it solves the targeting part. Make sure your grouped damage is strong enough before investing in support.
Another way to handle BTD6 Round 78 is reliable Camo removal before the wave reaches your main damage. That lets regular towers attack the revealed bloons. Camo removal must happen consistently, though: a few stragglers left invisible can still escape a defence that would otherwise clear everything.

Why Round 78 has two different Ceramic problems
The full standard-round lineup is 150 Rainbows, 75 Ceramics, one BFB, 80 Purples and 72 Camo Ceramics. The final Camo rush is the usual reason a seemingly solid defence suddenly fails. Your main tower can handle the first wave beautifully, then stop firing when the second arrives. That is a detection issue, not proof that the wave suddenly has impossible health.
Watch a failed BTD6 Round 78 attempt closely. If visible Ceramics leak, increase pierce, group damage or effective coverage. If only the Camo Ceramics pass through untouched, check Camo targeting or removal. If the Camo Ceramics take hits but survive, your Camo-enabled damage is present but too weak.
A tower that can see Camo without popping the Ceramic group quickly is only a partial answer. Likewise, a powerful area tower without Camo vision is a partial answer. The reliable solution is to make sure those two jobs overlap.
How to use abilities without wasting them
Some players reach BTD6 Round 78 with an emergency ability that can tear through ordinary groups. The danger is firing it on the first Ceramic rush and having it unavailable for the later Camo wave. You need to consider the cooldown and where the Camo wave is on the track.
An ability that cannot hit Camo will still miss the last Ceramic rush. Check your tower’s Camo targeting before you rely on ability timing. Check whether its tower has detection or whether you have support that makes the attack compatible with the wave. You cannot solve an immunity or targeting failure just by firing more quickly.
Continuous crowd damage is a strong foundation. An ability is best used to cover a weak point that remains after your everyday attacks are doing their work, rather than as the only part of the build capable of clearing Ceramics.
Positioning and preparation for the next rounds
On beginner maps, a Village beside your strongest Ceramic-clearer can cover a useful central area. On tracks with separate entrances or blocked sight lines, the same placement may fail. Before BTD6 Round 78, confirm that the tower actually sees the route taken by the Camo Ceramics.
The first three DDTs appear on Round 90, so keep your Camo support useful beyond this one Ceramic rush. They add Lead and Black properties to Camo and MOAB-class speed, so a Ceramic-only defence is not enough for late game. Keep building toward damage that can hit the next threat rather than buying support that helps only one wave.
CHIMPS also changes which fixes are affordable because you cannot sell or use powers. A tower that handles both ordinary and Camo Ceramics gives you more room to invest in anti-MOAB damage later.
BTD6 Round 78 FAQ
Are all the Ceramics on Round 78 Camo?
No. There are 75 ordinary Ceramics and 72 Camo Ceramics, with a BFB and other bloons also arriving during the round. The latter is the trap for towers without detection.
Can Radar Scanner solve BTD6 Round 78?
Radar Scanner can let your existing towers target Camo if they are inside the Village’s radius. You still need enough actual damage and pierce to clear the packed Ceramics.
Why did my MOAR Glaives stop attacking?
If it has no Camo detection, it cannot target Camo Ceramics. Add suitable detection or remove Camo before the wave reaches it.
