Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle: Best Decks and Every Mission

Pokémon TCG Pocket Deluxe Pack Mega

Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle has five Battle Tasks, and you need at least two different clears if you want every reward. One mission asks you to win without any Pokémon ex, while another requires a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex in your deck, so there is no single 20-card list that can satisfy both at once.

For the regular clear and Mega Evolution mission, Mega Rayquaza ex with Dragonair is a strong answer because it can reach enough damage to remove Mega Garchomp ex in one attack. For the no-ex mission, Mandibuzz and Greninja give you a completely different route: chip Gible or Gabite before they evolve, then finish them with Mandibuzz instead of trying to trade hits with a 220 HP Mega Garchomp ex.

Completing all five Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle tasks gives you 25 Wonder Hourglasses in total. The first Expert win also awards 100 player XP, eight Pack Hourglasses, one Promo Pack B Series Vol. 13 and one Shop Ticket.

Expert is also the best difficulty for farming the event promo cards because every win guarantees a Promo Pack B Series Vol. 13. The five-win and ten-win tasks also move your promo grind along, because every Expert victory gives you another pack.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle: opponent deck and attacks

The opposing Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle deck carries two Gible, one Gabite, one regular Garchomp and two Mega Garchomp ex. It also runs two Dratini and two Dragonair, which is where the battle can accelerate quickly once its board is established.

Mega Garchomp ex has 220 HP and Falling Edge hits for 190 damage before discarding two random Energy from itself. Once Dragonair starts feeding Energy into the line, letting Gible sit untouched can turn a manageable board into a knockout threat very quickly.

Best Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle deck for the Mega mission

Mega Rayquaza ex with Dragonair is a strong Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle deck because it handles two missions at once. Mega Rayquaza ex satisfies the Mega Evolution requirement, and with five Energy it can reach 250 damage, enough to knock out a full-health 220 HP Mega Garchomp ex.

A reliable 20-card shell uses two Dratini, two Dragonair, two Gouging Fire and one Mega Rayquaza ex. The Trainer side can run two Poké Ball, two Professor’s Research, two Copycat, two Rainbow Cave, then one each of Sabrina, Pokémon Center Lady, Professor Sada, Ancient Booster Energy Capsule and Small Balloon.

Use Fire and Lightning Energy with this list. Gouging Fire can take the early pressure while Dragonair builds Energy onto your stronger attacker. Rainbow Cave helps put Energy into the discard pile for Dragonair and Professor Sada to recover, while Sabrina is particularly useful for dragging Gible or Gabite Active before they become Mega Garchomp ex.

Don’t rush Mega Rayquaza ex forward with too little Energy. If Mega Garchomp ex is already on the board, reaching five Energy gives you the clean 250-damage knockout instead of leaving it alive to answer with Falling Edge.

Best Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle no-ex deck

The Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle no-ex mission needs its own deck. Mandibuzz and Greninja work well because the plan is to stop the Garchomp line before Mega Garchomp ex ever becomes the problem. Greninja’s Water Shuriken can damage a Benched Gible or Gabite, then Mandibuzz can finish a Pokémon that has already taken damage.

For the no-ex clear, use two Froakie, two Greninja, two Vullaby, two Mandibuzz and one regular Absol. The Trainer package uses two Rare Candy, two Copycat, two Deceptive Needle, two Poké Ball, one Professor’s Research, one Hiking Trail and one Field Blower.

Dark Energy alone keeps the deck simple because Mandibuzz only needs one Energy to attack and Greninja is here mainly for its Ability. Rare Candy lets Froakie jump straight to Greninja, which is much faster than waiting for the full evolution line before you can start placing damage on the Bench.

In the Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle, target Gible first whenever the board gives you the chance. If it evolves into Gabite, keep the pressure there rather than spreading damage for no reason. Once the line reaches Garchomp or Mega Garchomp ex, switch to an easier target such as Dragonair if that gives you a faster route to three points.

How to deal 100 damage in one attack

The Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle 100-damage task is straightforward with the Mega Rayquaza ex deck. You only need a single attack to reach at least 100 total damage; you don’t need to knock out Mega Garchomp ex with that hit. In most successful Mega Rayquaza setups, the mission clears naturally while you are completing the Mega Evolution task.

If you already cleared the Mega mission with another deck, any attacker capable of a 100-damage hit can finish this task. Any deck that can land a 100-damage hit will clear it, so you only need a separate attempt if your first winning deck relied on smaller attacks or Bench damage.

How to get the 5 and 10 win missions quickly

Use whichever Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle deck is giving you the cleanest repeat wins. You don’t need to keep using the no-ex list after that mission is complete, and the repeated wins have no extra deck restriction.

Because the Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle guarantees a Promo Pack B Series Vol. 13 after every victory, finishing ten wins also gives you ten guaranteed chances at Falinks, Gible, Gabite, Mega Garchomp ex or Delcatty. That makes the final Battle Task useful if you are still missing one of the five promo cards.

Pokémon TCG Pocket Mega Garchomp ex Expert Battle rewards

After the first clear, every Expert victory guarantees another Promo Pack B Series Vol. 13 and can also award 25 Shinedust and a Shop Ticket. That makes repeat wins useful even after the five Battle Tasks are complete.

The event battles remain available until October 25, 2026. If your only goal is the Battle Tasks, two purpose-built clears handle the conflicting deck requirements, then you can use your faster list for the remaining repeat wins.
