MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct is live with a 6,000 Gem entry fee and a physical Reality Fracture Collector Booster box waiting at seven wins while supplies last. The event uses Best-of-One Reality Fracture Sealed, with six Reality Fracture Play Boosters used to build your deck for each entry.
The risk in MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct is the two-loss limit. A run ends when you reach seven wins or two losses, whichever happens first, and rewards do not begin until three wins. That makes the reward ladder worth checking before you spend Gems on an attempt.

MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct rewards
The MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct reward ladder pays Gems and digital packs from three to six wins. Reaching seven wins changes the prize completely, replacing the digital payout with a physical Reality Fracture Collector Booster box while product remains available.
| Wins | Reward |
|---|---|
| 0 to 2 | No reward |
| 3 | 2,700 Gems + 8 MTG Arena packs |
| 4 | 5,400 Gems + 16 MTG Arena packs |
| 5 | 8,100 Gems + 24 MTG Arena packs |
| 6 | 10,800 Gems + 32 MTG Arena packs |
| 7 | 1 Reality Fracture Collector Booster box, while supplies last |
Wizards says the seven-win physical prize can be substituted with a $323.88 cash prize if Collector Booster box supplies run out. Cash prizes can be subject to tax withholding, so the substitute should not be treated as an automatic net payment of the full headline amount.
How much does Arena Direct cost?
Each MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct entry costs 6,000 Gems. One payment buys one run. When that run reaches seven wins or two losses, it is finished and another attempt requires another 6,000 Gem entry.
At four wins you receive 5,400 Gems plus 16 packs, which is close to the entry fee but still below it in raw Gems. Five wins returns 8,100 Gems plus 24 packs, and six wins returns 10,800 Gems plus 32 packs. The event therefore becomes much more forgiving once you reach five wins.
What format is Reality Fracture Arena Direct?
MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct uses Best-of-One Sealed. Each entry gives you six Reality Fracture Play Boosters for deck construction, so you are not bringing a Standard, Historic or Timeless deck from your collection.
With only two losses available, consistency matters more than building around every powerful card in the pool. Start with your strongest colour pair, make sure the mana base can reliably cast the cards you need, then splash only when the payoff is worth the extra risk.
When does the event end?
MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct opened October 2 at 8 AM Pacific, which is 15:00 UTC. New signups close October 12 at 1 AM Pacific, or 08:00 UTC. The event itself ends October 12 at 4 AM Pacific, or 11:00 UTC, unless the entry limit is reached earlier.
That three-hour gap matters. You can continue a run after signups close, but you cannot buy a fresh entry during those final three hours. Wizards also states that no new matches begin after the event end time, although a match already in progress can be completed.
Who can enter the event?
To participate in MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct, Wizards requires you to be at least 18 or the legal age of majority where you live, whichever is older. You also need an active valid Wizards account and must be legally allowed to participate in your location.
The event is void in a published list of territories including China, Belarus, the Central African Republic, Crimea, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cuba, Eritrea, Guinea-Bissau, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Syria.
How does the Collector Booster box prize work?
Seven wins in MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct earns one Reality Fracture Collector Booster box while supplies last. A physical prize still has to move through Wizards’ prize process after the run, so the box does not ship simply because the Arena client shows seven wins.
Eligible winners need a valid personal shipping address. If the physical supply is exhausted and your reward becomes a cash substitute, Wizards can use i-Payout and has separate response deadlines for prize communication. Your existing MTG Arena Direct Booster Box guide covers the broader claim and shipping process.
Is the 6,000 Gem entry worth it?
The value of MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct depends on your Sealed results and whether the physical top prize is actually your goal. Zero to two wins returns nothing, while three wins gives only 2,700 Gems plus eight packs. Repeated early exits can therefore drain a Gem balance quickly.
Players who regularly reach five or six wins are in a much healthier position because the Gem payout exceeds the entry fee before the digital packs are counted. Seven wins is a separate proposition because you are playing for physical sealed product rather than another digital payout.
Before spending your Gems
Before entering MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct, make sure you have time to finish the run, confirm your Wizards account details and remember the two-loss stop condition. If the Collector Booster box is the main attraction, check your eligibility and shipping information before you start playing.
The event stays open until October 12 unless its overall entry limit is reached sooner. There is no benefit to rushing a 6,000 Gem entry when you do not have time to concentrate on the matches. In MTG Arena Reality Fracture Arena Direct, understanding the reward ladder before game one is part of managing the risk.
