Tarkov EXFIL Brothers is the mentor and referral programme added in patch 1.2.0.0. An experienced Operator can link with a new Candidate, earn a 5% XP bonus in joint raids and collect rewards as the newcomer progresses.
Both players have to establish the connection on Battlestate’s website. The Candidate account must be under seven days old when the link is confirmed, so a normal friend invitation inside the game won’t work.

To start Tarkov EXFIL Brothers, the experienced player opens the official programme page, chooses Management and copies their link from My Candidates. The newcomer signs into their Battlestate account, opens the link and confirms the referral. They can then begin progressing towards rewards together.
- The experienced player checks that their Battlestate account is more than seven days old.
- The Operator must have a level 30 character in at least one Escape from Tarkov game mode.
- Open the EXFIL Brothers page on the official website and choose the Management tab.
- Copy the unique link shown in the My Candidates table and send it to the new player.
- The Candidate signs into their own Escape from Tarkov account and opens the referral link.
- The Candidate confirms the connection before their account becomes too old for Candidate eligibility.
The Candidate account must have been registered less than seven days before confirming the connection. Eligibility is based on account age, not the new player’s character level.
Who can become an Operator?
An Operator needs an account more than seven days old and a character at level 30 in a main Escape from Tarkov mode. The system allows an eligible Operator to invite up to five Candidates, each with their own reward progression.
A Candidate must have an account registered less than seven days ago. There is no level 30 requirement for the newcomer, but the referral must be accepted while that account remains eligible.
Who can become a Candidate?
Tarkov EXFIL Brothers gives both players an extra 5% XP in raids together. As the Candidate advances, they can receive currency, support kits and cases, while the Operator can earn TarCoins, Bitcoins and cosmetics.
Tarkov EXFIL Brothers works in Escape from Tarkov PvP and PvE Zone, allowing newcomers to learn raids alongside experienced Operators. Battlestate explicitly excludes Escape from Tarkov: Arena.
What bonus do you get for playing raids together?
If a Tarkov EXFIL Brothers link fails, confirm the Candidate’s account age, the Operator’s account age and the level 30 requirement. The Candidate should be signed into the correct account before opening and confirming the current link from My Candidates.
Can you use EXFIL Brothers in PvE?
What if the referral link is not working?
Tarkov EXFIL Brothers rewards are tied to progression rather than an instant referral payout. An Operator can receive up to 1,200 TarCoins and six in-game Bitcoins for each Candidate. The new player can earn useful supplies and storage cases. See our complete rewards guide for the item list.
If you’re planning to use Tarkov EXFIL Brothers with a new friend, create the referral connection shortly after registration. Once it’s confirmed, you can work through raids and Candidate milestones at your own pace. The initial seven-day limit applies to establishing an eligible referral, not to completing the entire reward track.
