Aniimo Whisperwake Isles is the new island region released on 29 October 2026 with Departure with the Wind: Part 2. To unlock it, reach character level 55, earn the Trailblazer I promotion and complete the new story quest A Tale of Tide and Song. The islands open through story progress rather than a separate purchase.

The region unlocks through the main story, with Lyrelle and Thesseo introducing the island journey. Once you’ve arrived, the four new areas offer fresh Aniimo to catch, a survey event and the start of the Chapter of Whisperwake progression.

How to Unlock Aniimo Whisperwake Isles

  1. Bring your Pathfinder to level 55.
  2. Complete the required title promotion and reach Trailblazer I.
  3. Finish the earlier main-story chapters so the new Whisperwake storyline can start.
  4. Follow the new story through A Tale of Tide and Song.
  5. After the story prerequisites are completed, the Whisperwake Isles content unlocks through the normal story progression.

The story begins after the earlier main storyline, which ends with A New Journey. Follow A Tale of Tide and Song as Lyrelle and Thesseo guide you to the islands. Completing that quest is also the requirement for the First Visit survey event.

If Aniimo Whisperwake Isles still looks locked, check all three progression requirements rather than just character level. Trailblazer I is a promotion, not another name for level 55, and the new story is an additional requirement. Completing earlier chapters makes the region storyline available.

Aniimo Whisperwake Isles: All Four Map Areas

Crescent Bay combines calm water, huge bubbles and the cliffside Mirrorsea Village. The Bubbeep family lives around its lake. This is also one of the region’s rotating Vein Abundance locations later in the season.

Rosy Mirelands is a wetland of waterways and woodland. Sugarfish live around the riverbanks, and the new Journey Quest Tale of Salabask Forest takes players into the area’s story.

Wildwater Gorge is all rushing rapids and rocky terrain. Look for the Saws family around the currents and Prawnch in the area. The new Proof of the Rapids quest explores the region’s trials.

Cloudreach Falls has steep cliffs and a large waterfall that the Jeglid family climbs. The terrain makes exploration more vertical than at Crescent Bay, so expect to use your Aniimo’s traversal skills as you head uphill.

First Visit to Aniimo Whisperwake Isles: Survey Rewards

Once you’ve completed A Tale of Tide and Song, open the First Visit to Whisperwake Isles event and work through the region survey quests. Each completed survey adds Survey Points toward event prizes, including a limited Avatar Frame.

The Europe event runs from the October 29 update until 10 December 2026 at 03:59 UTC. That is slightly later than the main Part 2 season’s December 9 closing time, so use the survey event’s own deadline when collecting rewards.

The new Journey Journal also records stories around Whisperwake Isles and Mirrorsea Village as you finish relevant quests. The island region is part of the permanent map expansion, while the First Visit survey prizes are tied to the seasonal event.

Aniimo Whisperwake Isles Prismana and Activities

The new regional Prismana forms include Whirlbite, Gachapus, Jabster and Sugartini. Vein Abundance adds rotating special forms: Pouchwisp in Rosy Mirelands from 2 November, Royalby in Wildwater Gorge from 9 November, Jeburst at Cloudreach Falls from 16 November, and Glameep around Crescent Bay from 23 November.

The seasonal Prismana rotations also list matching locations in the Breezy Plains: Tideblossom Coast, Sea of Flowers, Russet Highlands and Echoback Landing. You can take part there even while progressing the Whisperwake storyline. The regional Prismana Orb is used on eligible island Aniimo.

Aniimo Whisperwake Isles is also connected to the new Chapter of Whisperwake Elite Training, which opens after reaching Trailblazer I and making progress through the island story. If you’re working toward the new level 65 and 70 caps, the region is part of that broader progression.

After unlocking Aniimo Whisperwake Isles, open First Visit to Whisperwake Isles to see its regional survey tasks, then follow the Journey Journal for side stories. As you explore Crescent Bay through Cloudreach Falls, collect Aniimo and watch the weekly Vein Abundance locations for each seasonal Prismana.
