Hytale Cursebreaker free game copy became available to eligible owners on October 11, 2026. If you purchased the Cursebreaker Edition, you receive an extra Standard Edition license for each Early Access chapter, including the new Out of the Breach release.
Chapter 1 launches October 12 at 3 PM BST, but you can sort out the gift beforehand. The extra copy is managed through the official Hytale account portal, so check the account you purchased the game with before buying another license for a friend.
How to claim the Hytale Cursebreaker free game copy
- Visit Hytale’s official website and sign in to your account.
- Use the account associated with your Cursebreaker purchase.
- Open the account portal and look for the Chapter 1 bonus entitlement, available copies or gift codes.
- Follow the on-screen claim instructions for your extra Standard Edition license.
- Keep the resulting code private until you’re ready to share it.
Portal button labels may change, so follow the options shown in your account. Claiming the license is not a gameplay reward. You don’t need to finish the new dungeon or defeat a boss to qualify.
How to gift your Standard Edition code
Once you claim the Hytale Cursebreaker free game copy, use the portal’s code or gifting instructions. Send the unused redemption details directly to your friend, who should sign in through Hytale’s official account system to redeem them.
Avoid posting your gift code in a public Discord channel or screenshot. Someone else might redeem it first. The recipient gets Standard Edition, not another Cursebreaker purchase, so the extra edition perks remain with your original account.
Who can claim the Hytale Cursebreaker free game copy?
The recurring bonus is for Cursebreaker Edition owners. One additional Standard Edition copy is included for every Early Access chapter. Buying Standard Edition alone doesn’t qualify you for that same benefit. Hytale supports multiple account profiles, so check which profile has the Cursebreaker license if you use more than one.
Is the Hytale Cursebreaker free game copy available before Chapter 1?
Yes. The first chapter copy became claimable October 11, a day ahead of the October 12 release. You can send the license to a friend now and plan to play the new content when the update arrives. There is no announced need to reach a particular character level first.
Why isn’t my Hytale Cursebreaker free game copy showing?
First, check the account email and confirm that your purchase is Cursebreaker Edition. Sign out and back in to refresh the portal. If you already claimed a gift, look for a section showing issued or previously used licenses before assuming the copy has disappeared.
If the account still shows no Chapter 1 benefit, contact Hytale Support with your purchase details. You shouldn’t need to hand your account password or gift code to anyone claiming they can fix the issue.
Does every update include another free game?
No extra license has been promised for every numbered patch. The stated benefit covers Early Access chapters, which are larger content releases. Out of the Breach is Chapter 1, arriving with Update 7; another numbered update by itself isn’t necessarily another gift-copy opportunity.
Can you redeem the Hytale Cursebreaker free game copy yourself?
The offer provides an extra Standard Edition license, designed to be given away. If you already own the game, check the redemption conditions before adding a second code to your own account. A Standard Edition license isn’t a Cursebreaker upgrade and won’t automatically duplicate premium edition perks.
What can the recipient play?
Standard Edition gives access to Hytale Early Access, including Chapter 1 when it launches. Out of the Breach brings the Forgotten Temple story opening, a Gobliterator boss encounter, Rune Abilities, new Goblin threats and traversal gadgets. See our Chapter 1 guide for the release time and update contents.
If you bought Cursebreaker, your Hytale Cursebreaker free game copy is a useful way to bring a friend into the adventure. Check the account portal first, redeem or share your entitlement securely, and save another purchase for someone who actually needs it.
