Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw uses Stellar Tickets to draw rewards from Island Planner prize pools, including characters, outfits, furniture and other items. Yostar is adding new content to the feature with the 5 November 2026 maintenance update, alongside Island Planner Development Season V.
What happens to tickets you haven’t spent is the part to watch. If prizes are still left when the draw closes, your remaining tickets will be used automatically. If you’ve already emptied the prize pool, excess tickets are refunded according to their original purchase price.
Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw: how it works
Open the Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw in Island Planner to see the current rewards. You spend Stellar Tickets on draws from a prize pool that can contain characters, outfits, furniture and other items. Check the list before spending, especially if you want one particular reward.
Stellar Tickets aren’t used for ordinary ship construction. The new Light, Heavy and Special construction additions have separate acquisition routes, so don’t mistake the draw for a ship-building banner.
How to get Stellar Tickets for the Prize Draw
- Play Island Planner. Yostar says Stellar Tickets can be earned through Island Planner activities.
- Progress through Development Plans. The Season V rewards include Stellar Tickets alongside training materials and other items.
- Buy tickets with Gems. Yostar also confirms this paid acquisition method.
You can earn Stellar Tickets by playing Island Planner, including through Development Plans, or buy them with Gems. The Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw screen shows the active pool and its requirements. Check what’s available before purchasing tickets.
Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw: what happens to unused tickets?
Yostar has confirmed two different outcomes when the draw period ends. What happens depends on whether there are still prizes left in the pool.
| Situation at draw period end | What Yostar says happens |
|---|---|
| Prizes remain in the pool and tickets remain unused | The remaining Stellar Tickets are automatically spent on draws for those outstanding prizes |
| All prizes have been drawn but tickets remain | Extra Stellar Tickets are refunded according to their original purchase price |
| Auto-draw results or refunds | Delivered through in-game mail |
If prizes remain, the game automatically spends any unused Stellar Tickets on those remaining rewards. If you’ve already drawn every prize, excess tickets are refunded according to their original purchase price. The game doesn’t promise to refund all unused tickets as Gems regardless of the pool state.
This is why you shouldn’t assume all your spare tickets carry over into a later draw. The Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw has an end-of-period settlement system that either uses the tickets or refunds the excess under its stated rules.

Are earned Stellar Tickets refunded at the same Gem value as purchased tickets?
Refunds are based on the tickets’ original purchase price. Yostar doesn’t provide a detailed conversion table for tickets earned during gameplay versus those bought with Gems, so don’t assume every ticket refunds at the same premium currency value.
Before you buy more Stellar Tickets, check how many rewards remain in your pool and review the purchase terms. A refund under the Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw rules is not a guarantee that every unused ticket becomes the same amount of Gems.
Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw: where are refunds delivered?
Both the automatic draw rewards and the refunds are sent through in-game mail. Once the period ends, check your mailbox for the result.
If you’ve already collected every reward and still have tickets, the system handles the extras through its refund rule. If you have rewards left, it makes automatic draws instead. You don’t receive both outcomes for the same unused ticket.

Which Island Planner characters can you get?
The 5 November update adds Ognevoy, Ägir, Argus, Nagato and Hwah Jah as inviteable Island Planner characters. Yostar mentions Development Seasons, Stellar Prize Draw and Island Technology as invitation routes, but hasn’t said that all five will be in this prize pool.
If you’re chasing a particular character, inspect the current reward pool and the character’s invitation requirements in-game. Don’t buy tickets purely because a character appears in the broader Island Planner update.
How does the new draw connect to Development Season V?
The Winter Wanderlust Development Season V runs until 2 February 2027 at 06:59 GMT. That’s the Development Season’s deadline, not necessarily the end of every individual Stellar Prize Draw period. Use the active draw timer for its own cutoff.
Our Island Planner Season V guide explains what resets and what carries over. The Azur Lane Stellar Prize Draw uses different rules for leftover tickets, so keep the two systems separate.
