The Azur Lane Tempesta construction pool includes four new ships during Tempesta and the Corridor of Fog. Merkuriy, Selimiye and Ormrinn Langi are explicitly listed as rate-up characters, while Járnbarðinn is available without a rate-up label in the publisher’s notice.

Limited construction ends at 06:59 GMT on 5 November 2026. Riyala Bey, the fifth new Tempesta ship, is earned through accumulated event PT rather than being listed in this construction pool. Here’s which reward route applies to each character.

Ship Yostar’s confirmed availability
Merkuriy Rate-up in limited event construction
Selimiye Rate-up in limited event construction
Ormrinn Langi Rate-up in limited event construction
Járnbarðinn Available in limited event construction; not explicitly marked rate-up
Riyala Bey Accumulated event PT reward, not listed in this construction pool

Yostar marks Merkuriy, Selimiye and Ormrinn Langi as rate-up. Járnbarðinn is listed as available but not specifically rate-up. That difference matters when deciding where to spend construction resources.

When does the Azur Lane Tempesta construction pool end?

Yostar’s fixed deadline is November 4, 2026 at 23:59 UTC-7. Britain is on GMT in November, so the equivalent UK closing time is Thursday, November 5 at 06:59.

That same deadline applies to the event’s battle stages and several promotional shops. The PT shop and accumulated PT reward claims have a later deadline, November 12 at 06:59 GMT, but the extra redemption period doesn’t extend limited construction.

Check Construction Info before spending your last Wisdom Cubes on the Azur Lane Tempesta construction pool. The banner ends at the earlier deadline even though PT reward screens remain open for another week.

Is Járnbarðinn rate-up?

Járnbarðinn can appear in the event pool, but Yostar doesn’t advertise an increased rate for her. The Azur Lane Tempesta construction pool notice doesn’t give the percentage needed to calculate her exact odds.

Járnbarðinn also has a separate route: exchange accumulated event currency in the limited PT shop. You can earn PT by clearing Tempesta event stages, then redeem her through the shop until November 12 at 06:59 GMT.

If she’s your main target, compare the current shop cost with your PT balance before using more construction resources. The notice doesn’t publish the exact PT exchange cost, so the live shop remains the place to check.

How to get Riyala Bey instead

Riyala Bey is not a rate-up ship listed in the Azur Lane Tempesta construction pool. She’s a reward for accumulated event PT. Earn the required total in event stages and claim the character from the cumulative reward panel.

That is different from spending PT on Járnbarðinn in the shop. Meeting an accumulated milestone depends on the total you’ve earned throughout the event, while a shop exchange takes currency from your balance. The English announcement doesn’t include Riyala Bey’s exact threshold.

It’s useful to check both reward panels while clearing sorties. You can progress towards Riyala Bey at the same time as building up a PT balance for Járnbarðinn.

Are the construction rates and costs confirmed?

Yostar’s English notice doesn’t list individual construction percentages, build timers or a pity guarantee. Check the current Construction Info screen for rates and costs rather than reusing an older event’s figures.

Open the current Construction Info in the game to see the live banner’s displayed details. The Azur Lane Tempesta construction pool is limited in time, so checking the actual information matters more than relying on a general guide written before the event opened.

What else arrived with the new ships?

Each of the five new Tempesta characters received a dedicated augment module in the October update. Yostar lists Greatstaff of the Lodestar for Merkuriy, Fate’s Choice for Selimiye, Abyssal Summons for Ormrinn Langi, Silent Scythe for Járnbarðinn and Mizrak of Trials for Riyala Bey.

These modules are separate from whether a ship is rate-up in construction. The update also introduces Meowfficers Alexander and Ólafur during the same limited window. Neither adds another ship to the banner.

Which Tempesta ship should you aim for?

The confirmed reward routes give you a useful starting point. Use construction for the three explicitly boosted ships if those are the ones you want, consider Járnbarðinn’s PT exchange as another acquisition method, and work towards Riyala Bey through cumulative PT.

The Azur Lane Tempesta construction pool announcement doesn’t rank the new ships by combat strength. Use their actual skills and equipment before deciding which one fits your fleet; the rate-up labels aren’t a tier list.
