Triple H returns at WrestleMania 38

WWE WrestleMania 38 Triple H Entrance

WrestleMania without Triple H or The Undertaker competing just doesn’t seem right, but sadly both are now retired from in-ring competition.

In late 2021, Triple H underwent heart surgery and has been out of action until very recently when he appeared at NXT and then during the Hall of Fame ceremony.

The Game came to the ring to open WrestleMania 38 Night 2, with Triple H performing his classic entrance along to his Motorhead theme song.

Once in the ring, chants of “Thank you Hunter” erupted in the stadium, with Triple H doing the “Too Sweet” hand gesture, likely as a tribute to his good friend Scott Hall who sadly passed away last month.

Triple H then welcomed the audience to WrestleMania 38 and said thank you for all of the support the WWE Universe has given him recently.

He then left his boots in the middle of the ring as he exited the arena, signaling the end of his career, similar to how The Undertaker left his entrance gear following his match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33, which was originally intended to be his final match.
