Former WWE Superstar Charlie Haas has reportedly missed three wrestling events that took place in Australia this past weekend, where he was scheduled to face Ryan Eagles for the All-Star Wrestling Heavyweight Championship on all three shows.

Haas is perhaps best known for his stint in WWE, where he became a three-time WWE Tag Team Champion alongside Shelton Benjamin and Rico.

In a statement by Australian promotion, All-Star Wrestling Australia, they confirmed that Charlie Haas didn’t board the plane to take him from the United States to Australia to perform on the three shows he was scheduled to be at between October 14th-16th.

“Good Afternoon, first of all we here at All-Star Wrestling Australia apologise about the lack of news in regards to the Charlie Haas situation, our team including social media team have been making the 8 hour travel north for events in Casino and Evans Head today and have been unable to get access to a computer until now.

Yesterday we were disappointed to find out that Charlie Haas who was scheduled to appear for our October 14th, 15th and 16th events did not arrive at his scheduled arrival time, attempts to reach Charlie by our team and his management were not successful, we all were genuinely concerned about Charlie’s well being.

All-Star Wrestling Australia was also able to confirm with the airline that Haas never boarded the plane and left the country, saying,

We attempted to contact flight agencies, airlines and even had a member of our staff waiting at the airport for Charlie for over 2 hours, we and his management still don’t know the full story but what we do know is that Charlie did not board his flight to Australia and did not attempt to at any point.”

The last social media activity by Charlie Haas was on October 12th when he retweeted a picture of Team Angle, a stable he was part of alongside Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin, dominating the Smackdown brand in 2003.

UPDATE

Thankfully, Charlie Haas appears safe and well and has been in touch with a local promoter.

All-Star Wrestling Australia released a statement confirming that Haas is doing ok and is working on some personal issues.

“Yesterday a promoter from Texas that works with Charlie regularly reached out to us informing us that he had spoken to Charlie and that Charlie is safe and they know where he is. Charlie’s agent also informed us that it was a personal matter, that the family was currently dealing with and that Charlie is fine.

We unfortunately have no further information, we haven’t talked to Charlie directly as of yet but we are currently being patient and sympathetic in regards to the matter and hope to hear from Charlie or some of his people soon.”
