Charlie Haas is safe and ok after missing three shows in Australia

WWE Team Angle

A few days ago, The Click reported that former WWE Superstar Charlie Haas had missed three events that he was booked for in Australia for All-Star Wrestling Australia.

The promotion had confirmed that Haas never boarded the plane from the United States to Australia and that they were unable to make contact with him.

Thankfully, it has been confirmed that Charlie Haas is safe and has been in contact with a local Texas promotion and his agent.

All-Star Wrestling Australia has released a statement following Charlie Haas missing three events with the promotion to confirm that he is safe and ok.

“Yesterday a promoter from Texas that works with Charlie regularly reached out to us informing us that he had spoken to Charlie and that Charlie is safe and they know where he is. Charlie’s agent also informed us that it was a personal matter, that the family was currently dealing with and that Charlie is fine.

We unfortunately have no further information, we haven’t talked to Charlie directly as of yet but we are currently being patient and sympathetic in regards to the matter and hope to hear from Charlie or some of his people soon.”

Charlie Haas is best known for his time in WWE as part of Team Angle alongside Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin, where he would go on to become a two-time WWE Tag Team Champion with Benjamin.

Following the team’s split, Charlie Haas would go on to team with Rico, be managed by his then-wife Jackie, and capture the Tag Team Championships a third time before being released by WWE.

Since then, Haas has worked on the independent circuit across the United States and internationally, as well as coaching amateur wrestling in Texas.
