Saraya debuts at AEW Grand Slam (ex-WWE Paige)

During tonight’s AEW Grand Slam episode of Dynamite, Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, made her debut coming to the rescue of Toni Storm following a post-match beat down by Britt Baker.

Saraya also embraced Athena and Storm, which could indicate a friendship or stable featuring the trio in the future.

While nothing is confirmed so far, it would be fair to assume that Saraya will be wrestling in AEW rather than taking on a managerial position.

Paige was last seen wrestling in WWE in late 2017 when she suffered a career-ending following a kick to the head from Sasha Banks.

The anti-Diva stayed with the company until July 2022 when her contract expired. It was believed she would debut with AEW immediately, but nothing ever came of the rumors.

AEW Grand Slam also saw Chris Jericho become the Ring of Honor World Champion by defeating Claudio, and The Acclaimed won their first AEW Tag Team Championships.

The show is headlined by Blackpool Combat Club teammates Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson, who will go head-to-head for the AEW World Championship.
