Mass Effect Legendary Edition: Release Date, Trailer, Xbox Series X, Ray Tracing, PC Requirements, Xbox One, PS5, Game Pass and More
The BioWare Team have been hard at work improving the textures, models, shaders, and technical features of three massive games. Now we know that these three games are the award-winning Mass Effect trilogy being re-released as Mass Effect Legendary Edition.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition will contain a remastered version of the three original Mass Effect titles from BioWare; This includes all the additional single-player content available, including any promotional content.

Release Date
Currently, the only official word is that Mass Effect Legendary Edition will launch Spring 2021.
[UPDATE] We now know that this installment of the Mass Effect franchise will be releasing on May 14, 2021. This is a bit later than many people were hoping, but hey it’s better than sometime in 2022!
Rumours suggest that the specific date could be March 12, following a now-deleted online listing for the game.
Platforms
The title is scheduled to release Spring 2021 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It will include forward compatibility and targeted enhancements for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

PC System Requirements
There are no official PC System Requirements listed for BioWare’s title yet. The game does support 4K Ultra HD, so expect the graphical requirements to be similar to other titles that offer this support.
Game Pass
There is no word on whether this title is being added to Xbox’s Game Pass service. However, due to it not being a First Party Title, or from a Microsoft-owned studio, this is unlikely.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition Details
The upcoming remaster of the Mass Effect trilogy will not deviate from the original story experience of the titles. They will still follow Commander Shepard in their fight against The Reapers and beyond.
This re-release will include all additional single-player content that was released for the titles. There is no word on whether the multiplayer aspects, such as Mass Effect 3’s online mode, are coming though.
The Legendary Edition will also include all the promotional content that was released for each previous title. This includes the Leviathan for Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age promotional armour for Mass Effect 2, and more.
