Hang on to your seats 90’s kids! Power Rangers, featuring our OG favorite characters are returning to Netflix!
Netflix has announced the return of the popular children’s TV show Power Rangers, but for all of us ‘boomers’ who remember the first Power Rangers series, we will be able to reminisce as we see Billy, Zach, and the legend that is Rita Repulsa make their return to our screens.
Let’s take a look below at all the details, and when to tune in!
Power Rangers Once and Always Netflix Special
In the return of an exclusive series titled Power Rangers Once and Always’, viewers can tune in on Netflix from 19th April 2023.
Marking the 30th Anniversary of Power Rangers, and making us feel older than ever, the series will see some of the original cast return, and it’s safe to say here at The Click, we are more than excited!
David Yost (Billy), Walter Emanuel Jones (Zack), Johnny Yong Bosch (Adam), Steve Cardenas (Rocky), Karan Ashley (Aisha), and Catherine Sutherland (Kat) all make an appearance in the trailer for the upcoming series.
The trailer also shows our favorite villain, Rita Repulsa, and the loveable Alpha 5 will be making their return too in the special series.
After 10,000 (and 30 years), Rita is still free and on her quest to conquer Earth!

Of course, some characters won’t be making a return in the Power Rangers Once and Always series.
Tragically, Jason David Frank, known for his role as Tommy Oliver, the Green and then White Ranger, lost his life in November 2022 as a result of suicide – tragic news that rocked the entire fanbase to its very core, ourselves included. The original Yellow Power Ranger, Trini, played by actress Thuy Trang, lost her life back in 2001 in a car accident.
