Ninja Quit Fortnite?! Stream Sniping Plagues Twitch Giant

Game Industry Superstar Tyler Blevins, known as Ninja, has suggested that he will “quit” Fortnite following in-game stream disruptions.

It’s a wild world, that’s for sure. Ninja, who is famed for his Fortnite gameplay and early dominance of the competitive scene, has threatened that he will quit Fortnite is stream sniping continues.

Yes. You read that right. Ninja quitting Fortnite is like Vikkstar quitting Warzone, like that’ll ever –

Okay, it is sort of a big deal.

Why Would Ninja Quit Fortnite?

According to Ninja himself, he was stream sniped four games in a row. That was one game too many, it seems.

Stream sniping is where players watch a streamer’s stream and then use that stream to kill them in-game unfairly.

It’s essentially today’s version of split-screen screen watching. It’s a scummy tactic at the best of times and undoubtedly infuriating for anyone as competitive as Ninja.

“The thing is, these f**king clout-chasing losers, they have no idea. All they’re doing is just harming the game because I’m not gonna f**king play it. I’m not gonna play it—I’m not gonna stream it.”

Obviously, he is clearly distressed but you can’t help that think he is overstating his importance to the Fortnite scene.

He undeniably helped the game reach it’s prolific dominance when it was but an extension of Save The World, but nowadays it’s a beast of its’ own.

Fortnite Is Doing Pretty Okay

It’s safe to say that Fortnite is doing pretty okay at the moment. Its most-recent season is all about Hunters and boasts a few high-profile collaborations that have undoubtedly boosted player numbers and Epic Games’ bank accounts.

Master Chief from Halo, Kratos from God of War, The Mandalorian from Star Wars, and even Sarah Connor from The Terminator series have all featured in-and-amongst Fortnite’s own-brand characters.
