Disney+ announced Star Wars: The Bad Batch season two will be coming to the streaming platform in 2022.

Fans can start getting excited for the second season of the hit animated series as Disney+ are happy to reveal that we will be getting more action from Clone Force 99 and Omega.

If you haven’t watched the first season already, we highly recommend it. Here is a brief description/recap of what the show is about.

Disney+’ Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

In all the Lucasfilm Animation series follows Clone Force 99 (aka the Bad Batch), a group of elite defective clone troopers, as they take on dangerous missions. Additionally, The Disney+ show takes place in the ever-changing aftermath of the Clone Wars.

Clone Force 99 first appeared on Disney+ on May the 4th 2021 in a special 70-minute episode. Season one has 14 episodes and fans are expecting a finale on August the 6th.

The finale of season one should be one to remember and hopefully satisfy fans until 2022. As Disney+ announced Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2, Michael Paull president of the streaming service said, “Fans have enthusiastically embraced the action and drama of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and we are excited to see the Star Wars animated universe continue to expand on Disney+,”.

Season one of the new animated series was very well received all around the world and considered a worthy successor to fan favourite The Clone Wars. Hopefully, they can keep this up for season 2.
