With the second month of the year upon us, we are greeted with a whole host of new Field Research Tasks during Season 9: Mythical Wishes to complete and earn rewards.

Field Research Tasks, available by spinning Pokestops or Gyms, is a great way for trainers to encounter Pokemon they may not find within the wild, complete challenges requiring you to do so and gain new items, XP, and rewards.

For the Field Research Tasks for February 2023, they can be broken down into six main categories:

• Catching Tasks
• Battling Tasks
• Throwing Tasks
• Evolve/Power Up Tasks
• Buddy / Friendship Tasks
• Miscellaneous

Some of the tasks are repeatable every month, and some update at the start of every month, making it worthwhile checking back to see what you can expect to encounter during the relevant month.
