Beginning Wednesday, August 10, 2022, and finishing on August 16, 2022, trainers have a short time frame to encounter Mega Scizor and collect the all-important candy to mega evolve.

Mega Scizor is a Bug/Steel type Pokemon, making battling Mega Scizor a breeze! A team filled with strong fire-type Pokemon will give trainers a major advantage. In addition, steel or ghost-type Pokemon can help with trainers being attacked with the steel and bug moves from Mega Scizor.

As a rule, the easiest way to beat Mega Scizor is as follows:

Mega Scizor weakness – Fire

Mega Scizor counters – Charizard, Chandelure, Volcarona, Blaziken, and Ho-oh.

Mega Scizor Strongest Moveset – Fast – Fury Cutter, Charged -Iron Head

Whilst battling in a raid to beat Mega Scizor, it is worth remembering that a Mega Evolved Pokemon will give the team an advantage, with the following being the strongest combination:

  • Mega Charizard Y â€“ Fire Spin/Blast Burn
