Pokemon Go – Ultra Unlock part 1, Time

Pokemon Go Ultra Unlock part 1, Time

Pokemon Go Fest 2021 has concluded, and players earned a few bonuses by completing challenges – including the follow-up event, Ultra Unlock!

Ultra Unlock is actually split into three parts, each lasting for over a week and at least the first two are seemingly bringing quite a few new additions, including new Shinies.

Pokemon Go Ultra Unlock part 1 – Time

The event flavour text for Part one of Pokemon Go’s Ultra Unlock was the following:

The flow of time has been disrupted! Dialga will be appearing in five-star raids, and Pokémon from various eras will be appearing more often. Look forward to encountering formerly fossilized Pokémon like Cranidos and Shieldon—if you’re lucky, you might even encounter a Shiny Cranidos or a Shiny Shieldon!

When does Ultra Unlock 1 start?

The Ultra Unlock part 1 event in Pokemon go is expected to start on the 23rd of July at 10:00 AM local time, and run until the 3rd of August at 8:00 PM local time.

This gives us about 11 days of gameplay to get everything we want out of the event, which is pretty long compared to most events in Pokemon Go.

What to expect from Ultra Unlock part 1

The Pokemon Go Ultra Unlock event comes with themed field research tasks available at Pokestops throughout the event, alongside a refresh of the possible Pokemon pools for spawns, eggs and raids.

They even threw in a few nice new Shinies too, so let’s get to it.

Is there anything else to know?

That’s about everything for this one, part one of Ultra Unlock seems to be a pretty simple event – just one packed with a lot of content for us to enjoy.
