Pokemon Go Seedot Spotlight Hour January 2023 – The classic Pokemon takes the limelight

Seedot Spotlight Hour

As we enter the third week of January, trainers are in for a nutty little adventure as the Spotlight Hours continue this month, and next in store, we have the small but potentially powerful Seedot stealing the limelight in the Pokemon Go Seedot Spotlight Hour.

Seedot, the foraging Pokemon, is set to take the Spotlight for the hour, with this little nut Pokemon full of big capabilities.

Let’s take a look at who Seedot is, its evolution, and all of the details trainers need to know for the third Spotlight Hour in the month of January.

Seedot is a Grass type Pokemon, making it weak against Flying, Poison, Bug, Fire, and Ice moves.

“Seedot attaches itself to a tree branch using the top of its head. It sucks moisture from the tree while hanging off the branch. The more water it drinks, the glossier this Pokemon’s body becomes.”

There are 3 Pokemon available within the Seedot family. Seedot evolves into Nuzleaf which costs 25 Candy, which then evolves into Shiftry costing 100 Candy.

The Pokemon Go Seedot Spotlight hour is due to take place on Tuesday, January 17, 2022, 6-7 pm local time, giving trainers one hour to take full advantage and catch as many Seedot as possible.

Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation of an increased spawn rate of Shiny Seedot at this time however we do already know Seedot is available as a Shiny Pokemon.

Trainers will earn double the XP when catching Seedot during the Seedot Spotlight Hour. And with the increased spawn rate, there is the potential for a 4* to appear too!

It is also worth remembering Trainers now have access to the Daily Adventure Incense, which will attract more Pokemon to your current location. And don’t forget those all-important Pinap Berries for a double Candy bonus!

Happy Catching Trainers!
