It’s that time again trainers, and with the Season of Light now in full swing, it means only one thing, a whole new Community Day for trainers to enjoy. This time, Niantic brings us the little black and gold Mantle Pokemon Roggenrola in the Pokemon Go Roggenrola Community Day.

Community Days are a great way for trainers to complete challenges, encounter increased spawn rates of some of their favorite Pokemon, and even a shiny too!

Let’s take a look below at everything we know so far about the upcoming Pokemon Go Roggenrola Community Day.

When is the Pokemon Go Roggenrola Community Day?

The Pokemon Go Roggenrola Community Day is set to take place on  Sunday, September 18, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. Note the new time slot! Tickets will be available in the in-game store leading up to and including the day of the event for $0.99 or the local equivalent.

Who is Roggenrola?

Roggenrola is a rock Pokemon vulnerable to Ground, Steel, Fighting, Water, and Grass moves, “It was found in a fissure in a layer of exposed rock. The material that makes up its body is dirt from several hundred years ago.”

Roggenrola’s strongest movest is SmackDown and Power Gem, with a Max CP of 1205.

At present, Roggenrola has 3 evolutions. For a total of 50 Roggenrola Candie’s trainers can evolve Roggenrola to Boldore, and for 200 candies, Roggenrola can be evolved into Gigalith.

Roggenrola has previously been introduced as a Shiny Pokemon in Pokemon Go, however these Shiny Pokemon are rare.. will the Community Day bring trainers the opportunity to capture a Shiny Roggenrola?

Featured Community Day Attack

As well as the increased Roggenrola spawns, challenges, and shiny opportunities, trainers will also have a chance to get a special event-exclusive move during September’s Community Day.

Trainers who evolve a Roggenrola or Boldore during the event (or up to five hours afterward) to its ultimate form of Gigalith, will be granted the Charged Attack Meteor Beam.

The following Community Day bonuses will be available to trainers during the event:

  • 1/4 Hatch Distance
  • Double Catch Candy
  • Double chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon
  • Three-hour Lure Modules
  • Three-hour Incense
  • One additional Special Trade with a maximum of two for the day – active until 10:00 p.m.
  • Trades will require 50% less Stardust – active until 10:00 p.m.
  • GO Snapshot photobomb of Roggenrola
  • Event-themed stickers

The day will host a special Community Day item box for only 1 coin, however, details of the contents are yet to emerge. As with previous Community Days, items are likely to include Pokeballs, berries, or even a Lure!
