Regirock is first up for a raid hour in Pokemon Go after the recent return of the entire set of Regi’s to the title. Is the shiny form available during this raid hour, however?

When is the Pokemon Go Regirock raid hour?

Regirock’s raid hour takes place at 6pm local time and runs for the hour until 7pm local time on the 2nd of June 2021.

Local time means whatever the time is for you is the timezone used, as it varies across the world. Just rely on the time where you are, and you should have it correct.

Fighting Regirock during the Raid Hour in Pokemon Go

Regirock’s Moveset

Regirocks moveset doesn’t have much variety to it. It has 3 fast attacks and 3 charged attacks.

Prepare yourself for rock moves, fighting moves, and the electric-type curveball charge move that is Zap Cannon. If you can select Pokemon that can handle those types well, Regirock won’t be much in the way of a challenge for you.

What types are effective?

It should be noted that as Regirock is a pure Rock-type, all super effective types deal 160% damage, while resisted types deal only 62.5% of natural damage.

Super-effective types to prioritise using:
  • Fighting
  • Grass
  • Ground
  • Steel
  • Water
Resisted types to avoid using:
  • Fire
  • Flying
  • Normal
  • Poison

Not quite. To return to the question in the title; Regirock is Shiny enabled during this raid hour. So if you’d like a shiny Regirock, make sure to participate in plenty of raids while they’re so easy to find.

The main difference is the bulk of the body being darkened to an earthy brown tone. Honestly, I don’t feel like it makes much of a difference, but I’m sure someone out there will want to add this version of Regirock to their collection.
