Pokemon Go: How to evolve Petilil into Lilligant

Lilligant in the Pokemon Anime

Lilligant is the elegant Grass-type Flowering Pokemon, but how exactly do you get Lilligant in Pokemon Go, and what item do you need for it?

Fortunately, this is a pretty easy one for me to answer and for you to do, so let’s get into the details.

How to get Lilligant in Pokemon Go

To get Lilligant in Pokemon Go, you’ll only need a few things, fortunately. First of all, you’ll naturally need a Petilil to evolve. Although you’ll likely need quite a few of them due to the 50 candy requirement cost of the evolution.

Though any spare captured Petilil will give you other options to evolve into Lilligant, which might mean getting one with far better stats, so nothing to complain about there.

Following on from the candy and Pokemon requirements, you’ll also need a Sun Stone, which is the next thing we’ll discuss.

While Sun Stones aren’t easy to get on short notice, you have a chance at one every single time you spin a Pokestop, get your seventh-day spin streak reward, or as a reward from research tasks and potentially from gifts.

All of these different sources can build up and if you do these things regularly, you’ll probably have a few of them by the time you need them anyway.

That makes evolving Petilil into Lilligant pretty easy in Pokemon Go, as long as you have been doing those things regularly.

Is there anything else to know?

Once you’ve decided if you want Lilligant in Pokemon Go, hit the evolve button and you’re just about done here – one short evolution animation later and it’ll be added to your Pokedex.

Make sure to check out what else you can use the Sun Stone for with the article linked above though, it’s is used in four different evolutions after all.

That’s about everything that needs to be said for how to get Lilligant in Pokemon Go, really.
